all options remain on the table,

including a possible trade deal with
the US, but only if it is right for

A rebel group called the Commoners
of the South has started handing its

weapons to the Colombian government
in Pasto as part of peace talks.

The group of at least 250
fighters operates in the

southwestern province of Nariño.

It has been negotiating with the
government since last year and is

expected to disarm in the coming months."

"Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas
Araghchi has stated that his country

is willing to engage in indirect
negotiations with the United States.

This comes after US President
Donald Trump expressed a preference

for direct talks with Iran.

However, Araghchi emphasized that direct
negotiations would be ""meaningless"" if

the US continued to threaten force, citing
the country's history of violating the

UN Charter and expressing contradictory
positions from its officials.

The statement follows the reported
deployment of a second advanced

anti-missile defense battery in
Israel amid rising tensions with

Iran over its nuclear program."

"Qatar

On Saturday, a Democratic Republic
of Congo government delegation

met with Rwanda-backed M23 rebels
in Qatar to discuss halting

fighting in the country's east.

The talks, facilitated by Qatar, have been
described as ""positive"" and led to the

withdrawal of M23 forces from Walikale."

"Syria

A Syrian security source has confirmed
that severe disputes have erupted

between the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham
(HTS) group, led by Abu Mohammad

al-Julani, and the Kurdish-led
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The conflict was triggered after the SDF
refused to release detainees affiliated

with al-Julani's terrorist regime, leading
to the suspension of an ongoing prisoner

exchange between the two factions."

"Uganda

Last Thursday, April 3, leaders from
South Sudan, the Democratic Republic

of Congo (DRC), and Uganda met in
Uganda's Koboko District to discuss

strengthening cross-border relations
and resolving border disputes.

The Commissioner of Morobo County in
South Sudan praised the event, emphasizing

the importance of continuous dialogue
to maintain peace and development.

The meeting, funded by the European
Union, aimed to resolve border

disputes and promote unity and
cooperation among the three nations."

"United States

The United States is revoking all
visas for South Sudanese passport

holders and blocking new arrivals due
to the country's refusal to accept

its nationals deported from the US.

This move, announced by US Secretary
of State Marco Rubio, affects

around 133 individuals currently
in the US under the ""temporary

protected status"" (TPS) program.

The US had granted TPS to South
Sudanese nationals due to the country's

ongoing conflict and instability.

The decision is a response to South
Sudan's failure to accept its citizens

expelled from the US, with Rubio stating
that every country must accept the return

of its citizens in a timely manner."

"Syria

The Counter-Terrorism Department
(CTD) of Balochistan has foiled a

major terrorist plot by recovering
a significant cache of arms and

ammunition in the Sariab area of Quetta.

The operation yielded improvised
explosive devices (IEDs), automatic

weapons, and various types of ammunition
and is believed to have been planned to

occur within the next 24 to 72 hours."

"India

The Amritsar Rural Police has made
a significant arrest, linking the

individual to Pakistan's Inter-Services
Intelligence (ISI) agency.

The police recovered a
Glock 9mm pistol, a .30

Calibre pistol, and fake
currency worth Rs 2.15

lakh.

The consignment was allegedly sent
to create unrest in the region,

and an FIR has been registered
for further investigation."

"India

Dozens of armed militants allegedly
from the Kuki community assaulted

residents, including village chief
Aimson Abonmai, in Konsakhul village.

Eight villagers were injured but
are reported to be out of danger.

The Rongmei Naga Council has condemned the
assault, warning of potential unrest in

the hills amid existing ethnic conflict
between the Kuki and Meitei communities."

"Israel

According to the IDF, 5 out of 10
rockets launched from Gaza's Deir

al-Balah towards the Ashdod area
were intercepted by air defenses.

At least one of the remaining
rockets hit Ashkelon, causing

damage and injuring one man.

Home Front Command officers are currently
operating at the sites of rocket impacts

alongside other rescue authorities."

"Libya

On Saturday, violent clashes between
forces of the Western Coast Military

Zone and an armed group, the First
Support Battalion, took place in the

city of Al-Zawiya, western Libya.

The fighting near the Al-Zawiya oil
refinery has sparked fears of damage

to storage tanks and gas pipelines.

At least one person was killed and several
others injured in the clashes, which have

raised concerns about the deteriorating
security situation in the city."

"Nigeria

Boko Haram terrorists launched a surprise
attack on a military formation in Izge

village, Gwoza local government area of
Borno state, at around 1:00 am on Sunday.

The attack, which involved Rocket
Propelled Grenades (RPGs), resulted in the

deaths of scores of terrorists, including
a Captain and a Corporal Soldier.

Residents, with the support of
vigilantes and local hunters, joined

forces with the military to repel the
attack and are currently searching

for any remaining fleeing terrorists."

"Nigeria

On Friday, Abia State Police police,
military, and other security forces

rescued four Chinese nationals
and two escort police officers

from a kidnapping incident.

The abductions occurred when unidentified
armed assailants ambushed and attacked

Chinese expatriates, and their police
escorts en route to their company in

Agukwu-Amaya, Ndundu Community, Uturu,
Isuikwuato Local Government Area.

Tragically, three people were
killed during the attack,

including a police officer and
two of the Chinese expatriates."

"Nigeria

On Sunday, security forces arrested
three members of a notorious five-person

kidnapper gang in Ogoli Ugboju.

The gang allegedly terrorized the Otukpo
Local Government Area of Benue State."

"Nigeria

Two brothers, Masandi Moses Bulus and
Mikhima Moses Basungyu, were killed by

suspected militias while tending to their
farm in Wapan Nghaku, a quiet community

in Taraba State, Nigeria, on April 4.

The incident has left the community in
mourning and raised concerns about the

persistent cycle of unrest in the region."

"Philippines

On Saturday, New People's Army (NPA)
rebels attacked a cassava milling

facility in Barangay Siloo, Malitbog,
Bukidnon, accusing the owner of

grabbing indigenous people's lands.

According to the NPA, a team of 12
armed insurgents overpowered the

facility's guards and set fire to
stocks of cassava chips, a milling

machine, and a building, causing
an estimated P3 million in damage."

"Somalia

On Saturday, a man dressed in a military
uniform opened fire and killed a senior

commander of the Somali Army while he
was addressing troops during a routine

inspection in Ado-Diidible in preparation
for a major offensive against Al-Shabab.

Authorities are investigating whether
the attacker was an infiltrator posing as

a soldier or a member of the military."

"Somalia

A suspected al-Shabab mortar attack
occurred at Somalia's Aden Abdulle

International Airport adjacent to the
African Union Stabilisation and Support

Mission (AUSSOM) headquarters in Mogadishu
on Sunday, with at least four mortars

fired near the airport and AU base.

There were no reported casualties.

No group claimed
responsibility for the attack."

"South Sudan

On Friday, gunmen ambushed a vehicle
on the outskirts of Duk Padiet, Duk

County, Jonglei State, resulting
in two girls and a woman being

injured, while a child went missing.

Authorities accused armed Murle
youth, suspected to be from the

Greater Pibor Administrative Area
(GPAA), of carrying out the attack."

"Syria

Members of the General Security have
apprehended the former deputy head

of the State Security of the previous
regime in Mohassan Town, Deir Ezzor.

The individual has been taken into
custody at a security branch."

"Syria

A hand grenade was thrown at a
house in the Al-Sabil neighborhood

of Homs City, injuring a woman
and her son with shrapnel.

The two civilians were taken to a hospital
to receive proper medical treatment."

"Syria

On Saturday, the Internal Security
Forces - Women's Units (YPJ) and

the Women's Protection Units (YPJ)
arrested six ISIS collaborators inside

the Roj refugee camp approximately 10
km west of the city of Derik in the

Jazira Canton of North and East Syria.

The arrest is part of a security
campaign launched against ISIS sleeper

cells in the camp, which houses
783 families of ISIS mercenaries."

"Syria

Suspected ISIS gunmen killed a civilian
in Abu Khashab town, northern Deir Ezzor.

The victim had received previous
threats from ISIS and was targeted

for allegedly dealing with the
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)."

"Afghanistan

A Taliban fighter was killed, and two
others were wounded in a dispute that

escalated into gunfire in Ela village,
Jurm district, Badakhshan province.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday
morning, reportedly started as a verbal

altercation at a volleyball site and
has raised concerns about discipline and

professionalism within the Taliban ranks."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Air Force struck over 130
targets in the Gaza Strip over the

weekend, targeting Hamas operatives,
terror group infrastructure, and tunnels.

The IDF also released
footage of the attacks.

Additionally, an IAF helicopter
intercepted a drone launched

at Israel from Yemen by the
Iran-backed Houthis on Friday night."

"India

On Saturday, security forces in
the Chakradharpur subdivision of

Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district,
during anti-Naxal/Maoist operations,

discovered and defused four powerful
IEDs weighing 5kgs each, averting a

potential attack on patrolling personnel.

Additionally, 16 underground
bunkers were found in the vicinity,

suggesting a temporary base or
training camp for Maoist cadres."

"Israel

The United States has deployed a
Patriot missile defense system and

a THAAD system from South Korea to
Israel, signaling growing concern

over Iran's nuclear program.

The systems will strengthen Israel's
defense capabilities against

potential missile threats from Iran.

The move marks a significant shift in U.S.

military positioning in the region.

It comes ahead of Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington

armed criminals with bullet injuries."

"South Sudan

On Friday, a senior officer, Brigadier
General Adnan Alex Boboya, defected

from the Sudan People's Liberation
Army in Opposition (SPLA-IO) to

the South Sudan People's Defense
Forces (SSPDF) in Yei River County.

This defection comes amid internal
divisions within the SPLA-IO and

heightened regional tensions."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked seven PLA aircraft
and seven naval vessels around

the country between 6 a.m.

on Saturday and Sunday.

Five aircraft crossed the median
line of the Taiwan Strait and entered

the nation’s northern and eastern
Air Defense Identification Zone."

"Ukraine

A Russian missile attack on Kyiv
has resulted in one fatality

and three injuries, with two of
the injured being hospitalized.

The attack used drones, ballistic
missiles, and cruise missiles,

causing damage in multiple districts
of the city, including Darnytskyi,

Obolonskyi, and Solomianskyi.

Fires broke out in several locations,
and emergency services are working to

eliminate the consequences of the attack."

"Ukraine

A drone attack by the Russian
military in Mykolaiv has caused

fires in two residential buildings.

The incident occurred despite an
air alert being declared in the city

due to the threat of attack UAVs.

The situation is being responded to
by emergency services, and the number

of casualties is currently unknown."

"Ukraine

The Kharkiv region has been affected by
shelling, with residential buildings,

outbuildings, and power lines damaged.

The attacks occurred in several villages
and towns, including Kupiansk, Ivashky,

Kozacha Lopan, Slatyne, and Stary Saltiv.

A total of 33 private houses,
an apartment building, a lyceum,

and a city council building were
damaged, with several fires reported.

Four people were injured

A Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv
damaged the editorial offices of Ukraine's

State Foreign Broadcasting Enterprise,

The facilities, relocated after a

severely damaged, but fortunately,
no IMBPU employees were injured.

The affected channels include
FREEDOM, Dom, UATV English,

and others, which continue to

A missile and drone attack occurred
in the Kirovohrad region, causing

damage to houses and electrical wires.

According to the head of the
Kirovohrad Regional Military

Administration, 18 buildings, including
private households and electrical

infrastructure, were damaged.

Fortunately, there were
no casualties reported."

"Ukraine

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,330 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 250 pieces of military equipment

A remnant mine blast near the village

A 28-year-old man, Mohammed Heini, was
killed, and his 27-year-old brother,

Safwan Heini, was critically injured
in a landmine blast on Sunday in the

Sidakan district of the Kurdistan Region.

The landmine, which dated back to

A medical transport helicopter
carrying six people, including

a patient, crashed into the sea

On Saturday, a glider crashed at the
Hawkes Bay Golf Club in Hastings,

resulting in the death of its pilot.

12:15 pm on Valentine Road,

"South Korea

On Saturday, a helicopter crashed
during a fire operation in Daegu,

South Korea, killing its pilot.

The fire, which broke out on a
hill in the city, was extinguished

about an hour after it started.

The cause of the crash
was under investigation."

"Syria

A civilian was killed by shrapnel from
a landmine explosion in the eastern

part of Tahmaz Village, located
in the Okairabat district of the

Salmiya area in Hama countryside."

"Syria

A young man has died as a result of
injuries sustained from an old landmine

explosion in the Sbeikhan desert,
located in the Deir Ezzor countryside."

"Syria

Two members of the engineering unit
in the 66th division were injured

while searching the Deir Ezzor desert.

They were taken to the
hospital for treatment."

"United States

A helicopter crash occurred in a
baseball field in Rockledge, Florida,

on Sunday, April 6, around 10:30 a.m.

The incident involved a Hiller
H-23D helicopter, with the Rockledge

Police Department initially
reporting three people on board.

However, Brevard County firefighters
stated that only two people were airlifted

to trauma centers after the crash.

The FAA is currently investigating
the cause of the incident."

"United States

A train derailment occurred in
Arkansas on Saturday due to severe

flooding caused by torrential rains.

The incident happened at Mammoth
Spring State Park, where multiple

train cars were toppled and train
tracks were heavily damaged."
