rejected ceasefire proposals from
ethnic armed organizations (EAOs).

These proposals were intended
to facilitate desperately needed

earthquake relief efforts.

undermines crucial humanitarian

assistance as the earthquake's
devastating impact escalates."

"Myanmar

On Tuesday, the Three Brotherhood
Alliance, comprising the Arakan Army

(AA), Ta'ang National Liberation Army
(TNLA), and Myanmar National Democratic

Alliance Army (MNDAA), announced
a one-month unilateral ceasefire.

This ceasefire, effective from April 1
to April 30, aims to support humanitarian

aid efforts in the aftermath of last
Friday's devastating earthquake."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo's
President Felix Tshisekedi has

commuted the death sentences of three
Americans convicted in a botched

coup attempt to life imprisonment.

The Americans, including Marcel Malanga,
Tyler Thompson, and Benjamin Reuben

Zalman-Polun, were convicted, along with
over 30 others, on charges of attempted

coup, terrorism, and criminal association.

The commutation comes amid efforts
by Congolese authorities to sign

a minerals deal with the U.S.

in exchange for security support to
fight Rwandan-backed M23 rebels in

the conflict-hit eastern region."

"Niger

Niger has released over 50
detainees, including former

ministers in the former government.

Former President Mohamed Bazoum
was not among those released."

"South Korea

On Wednesday, South Korea's
parliament formally moved to impeach

Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok.

National Assembly speaker Woo Shik
stated that the parliament would vote

on the motion within 24-72 hours.

This move is part of ongoing
developments in South Korean politics."

"Sudan

Sudan's Foreign Ministry has accused
the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of

looting and destroying several museums
and cultural institutions in Khartoum

state, including the National Museum.

The damage includes the loss of
artifacts documenting Sudan's

7,000-year-old civilization, which
the ministry calls a ""war crime.""

The RSF is also accused of targeting
universities, mosques, and churches

of historical significance to
erase Sudan's national identity."

"Taiwan

On Wednesday, the US reaffirmed
its support for Taiwan in the face

of China's large-scale military
exercises in the East China Sea.

China's military has conducted live
fire drills, including precision strikes

on simulated targets, as part of its
""Strait Thunder-2025 A"" exercise."

"Taiwan

The United States has accused China of
jeopardizing regional security following

China's launch of a second day of
military exercises targeting Taiwan, which

included a rehearsal blockade and attack.

China's People's Liberation Army
(PLA) initiated the unannounced

joint drills on Tuesday morning.

The PLA exercises continued on Wednesday
in the central and southern areas of the

Taiwan Strait, practicing strikes against
critical ports and energy infrastructure."

"China

According to a PLA spokesman, the Chinese
People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern

Theater Command has completed joint drills
around the Taiwan island, testing their

integrated joint operations capabilities.

The exercises began on Tuesday and focused
on sea-air combat-readiness patrols, joint

seizure of comprehensive superiority,
and blockade of key areas and sea lanes."

"Romania

A naval exercise called ""Sea
Shield"" is taking place in the

Black Sea and Danube River delta.

It involves over 2,300 troops from 12
NATO countries and aims to strengthen

collaboration among allied forces."

"Ukraine

Residents of Sviatohirsk and Mykolaivka
in the Donetsk region were sentenced to 5

and 10 years in prison for helping Russian
forces attack critical infrastructure

and sharing sensitive information
about Ukraine's fortifications.

The individuals who were in contact
with Russian handlers provided

information on Ukraine's defense
positions and military bases."

"India

On Wednesday, an explosion occurred
near the Badshahpur police post

in Patiala, shattering windowpanes
in an adjoining building.

The police have launched an
investigation but maintain that

it was not a grenade attack.

According to villagers, the explosion-like
sound was heard around 2 a.m.,

prompting the police to rush to the scene.

The police are inspecting the
area and collecting evidence to

determine the cause of the blast."

"India

The Manipur Police arrested five active
members of the proscribed Kangleipak

Communist Party (Noyol group) from Imphal
East and Imphal West Districts on Monday.

The arrested individuals, identified
as Khoisnam Sanajaoba Singh, Khoinaijam

Robertson Singh, Soubam Rohit Singh,
Leishangthem Naobi Singh, and Khaidem

Nongpoknganba Meitei, were allegedly
involved in extortion and intimidation.

The police recovered a 9mm pistol, mobile
phones, and two two-wheelers from their

possession, and they are currently in
police custody for legal proceedings."

"India

The Counter Intelligence (CI) in
Amritsar has arrested Jaiveer Tyagi,

a suspected operative linked to
Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence

(ISI) agency, and recovered a
hand grenade from his possession.

The arrest was made after receiving
credible inputs about a potential

terror attack in various cities to
disturb peace and harmony in the state."

"Iraq

On Tuesday, a cleaver attack occurred
during an Assyrian Christian celebration

in the city of Dohuk, northern Iraq,
leaving a 65-year-old woman in a

stable condition and a 25-year-old
man with a minor scalp wound.

Authorities have arrested the suspect,
who is believed to be Syrian and

influenced by Islamic State ideology."

"Iraq

The Iraqi National Security Service
(INSS) has prevented a terrorist attack

in Tikrit, Saladin Province, which was
targeting Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

The INSS force apprehended a group
of terrorists before they could carry

out the operation, but further details
on the number of suspects or their

affiliations are not available."

"Libya

The Criminal Investigation Department
(CID) of Libya's police rescued 23

kidnapped Bangladeshis in Misrata city.

Two people were arrested in
connection with the abductions,

and the rescued individuals were
handed over to local authorities."

"Nigeria

A bandit attack on Bajat and Dole villages
in Katsina State resulted in the death

of Nura Baushe, a vigilante commander,
and several others were injured.

The victims were rushed to the
hospital for treatment, but

normalcy has been restored after the
deployment of security personnel."

"Nigeria

A clash between two rival groups, Sara
Suka, occurred on Sunday in Jos, Plateau

State, leaving five members dead.

The incident disrupted the
Eid-el-Fitr celebration,

which was otherwise peaceful."

"Nigeria

The Delta State Police Command
has arrested four suspected

kidnappers and recovered several
firearms in Rivers and Kogi States.

The suspects were tracked to their
hideouts following investigations

into their activities in Delta State.

The police recovered three AK-47 rifles,
an automatic pump-action gun, a Beretta

pistol, and 95 rounds of ammunition."

"Philippines

On Tuesday, gunmen ambushed and
killed two teenagers while they

were riding a motorcycle in Barangay
Tukanalugong, Datu Abdullah Sangki.

The two teenagers were relatives of
senior commanders of the Moro Islamic

Liberation Front, who were openly
supporting candidates for local and

provincial positions endorsed by the
MILF’s United Bangsamoro Justice Party."

"Singapore

The Regional Cooperation Agreement
on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery

against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) has
issued a new alert warning of a

surge in sea robbery incidents in
the Singapore and Malacca Strait.

Six incidents were reported
between March 28 and 30, with

perpetrators boarding three vessels
in a 90-minute period on March 30.

A total of 35 reported incidents were
reported in 2025, compared to 11 in 2024."

"Singapore

Singapore authorities have detained two
teenagers under the Internal Security

Act for planning extremist activities.

A 17-year-old male was detained for
wanting to attack mosques and kill

at least 100 Muslims, inspired by
far-right extremist ideology, while

a 15-year-old female was issued a
restriction order for planning to

marry an ISIS fighter and potentially
join the extremist group in Syria.

These cases highlight concerns about
youth radicalization in Singapore, with

authorities warning of the need for public
vigilance to prevent self-radicalization."

"South Sudan

Armed youth from Mayom County in South
Sudan's Unity State have attacked

and seized control of Abiemnom town,
the capital of Abiemnom County.

The attack, which occurred on an
unknown date, resulted in four deaths

and six injuries, with the attackers
setting several houses on fire."

"Ukraine

Ukraine's SBU State Security Service has
detained two Russian agents who planned to

bomb an administrative building in Lviv.

The suspects, a 22-year-old woman and
a male acquaintance, were recruited

by a Russian GRU officer and received
instructions to retrieve an explosive

device disguised as a fire extinguisher.

However, SBU counterintelligence
uncovered the plot and arrested

them as they approached the police
building with the explosives.

The suspects face life imprisonment and
asset confiscation under Article 111, Part

2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high
treason committed under martial law)."

"Algeria

Algeria's military has shot down
a Turkish-made Akinci combat

drone near its southern border
with Mali, which has escalated

tensions between the two neighbors.

The drone, identified as belonging to
Mali, was intercepted near Tin Zaouatine,

a town controlled by Tuareg separatists."

"China

On Wednesday, the Chinese People's
Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater

Command conducted long-range live-fire
drills in the East China Sea as part of

the ""Strait Thunder-2025A"" exercise.

The drills involve precision
strikes on simulated targets of

key ports and energy facilities and
have achieved the desired effects.

The exercises are seen as a stern
warning and deterrent against

""Taiwan independence"" separatist
forces and aim to test the troops'

joint operation capabilities."

"Gaza Strip

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shot and
killed an armed gunman who approached

the security fence in southern Gaza.

According to the IDF, the gunman was
eliminated before reaching the fence,

with no soldiers injured in the incident."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Air Force conducted strikes
on over 50 Hamas and terror group

sites in Gaza ahead of a major ground
operation in the southern Gaza Strip.

The goal is to surround Rafah and
establish the Morag Corridor, a buffer

zone between Rafah and Khan Younis, where
ground troops have not yet operated.

The IDF aims to pressure Hamas to
release the remaining hostages,

with IDF Chief of Staff Lt.

Gen.

Eyal Zamir stating this as the
ultimate goal of the operation."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli military and Shin Bet
carried out a strike on Hamas terror

operatives in the Jabalia area, targeting
a command and control compound used

by the terrorist organization to plan
attacks against civilians and IDF forces.

Measures were taken to minimize risk
to civilians, including intelligence

gathering and aerial surveillance."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has
deployed an additional division to

the southern Gaza Strip, expanding
its offensive against Hamas.

Overnight strikes in Rafah and Khan
Younis were followed by an IDF ground

advance in the area, with Defense
Minister Israel Katz stating that troops

would clear areas of ""terrorists and
infrastructure"" and capture territory

to be added to Israel's security areas."

"Iraq

On Tuesday, Turkiye launched a new
round of air and artillery strikes

on suspected PKK positions in
northern Duhok, targeting the Miwen

Valley near the village of Blava.

The operation follows a series
of cross-border strikes despite

the PKK leader's declaration
of a ceasefire and peace.

There were no reports of
casualties in the attacks."

"Libya

On Sunday, Libya's Internal Security
Agency announced its operatives dismantled

a ""banned terrorist organization""
that had been plotting a series of

attacks on military and security sites.

The group had been using a false
identity to recruit new members and

disseminate extremist propaganda.

Investigations revealed that the
organization had established external

contacts to acquire logistical
support, including materials

for manufacturing explosives and
drones for reconnaissance missions.

Authorities also uncovered
a secret facility used for

weapons and bomb-making."

"Myanmar

On Monday, a junta airstrike killed at
least 30 young people in Mohnyin Township,

Kachin State, according to sources close
to the Kachin Independence Army (KIA).

The victims had arrived to attend
military training with the KIA.

The attack targeted an area controlled by
Brigade 8 of the KIA's Fifth Battalion,

where the young people were resting on
their way to the KIA training ground."

"Myanmar

The Myanmar junta has admitted that its
troops, on Tuesday, fired on a Chinese

convoy carrying emergency supplies in
response to a devastating earthquake.

The convoy, which included vehicles
from the Red Cross Society of China,

was traveling near Shan state's
Nawnghkio township when soldiers opened

fire from a distance of 100 meters.

Fortunately, there were no injuries to the
passengers or damage to their supplies."

"Somalia

The Federal Government of Somalia,
in collaboration with AFRICOM, has

conducted an airstrike against ISIS
terrorists in the Puntland state,

killing several terrorists without
reported civilian casualties."

"Somalia

On Tuesday, Somali forces conducted
airstrikes on ISIS terrorist targets

in the Cal Miskaat mountains,
killing dozens of rebels."

"South Sudan

The SPLA-IO Mobile Force Commander, Maj.

Gen.

John Mabieh Gar has threatened
military action if First Vice President

Riek Machar, who was placed under
house arrest by security forces

on March 26, was not released.

Gar claims that the government's
actions violate the 2018 peace

agreement and has demanded the
immediate release of Machar, as well

as confirmation of his health status.

He has also condemned recent attacks
on SPLA-IO positions and the use of

chemical weapons against civilians."

"Sudan

According to recent reports, the Rapid
Support Forces (RSF) have attacked

residential areas in South Kordofan
State, killing at least 12 civilians

and displacing hundreds of families.

The Sudanese army has been gaining
control over territory from the

RSF, with the conflict now affecting
13 out of 18 states in Sudan."

"Sudan

On Tuesday, fierce clashes broke
out between the Sudanese army and

the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)
in El-Obeid, the capital of North

Kordofan state in southern Sudan.

A military source claims the
army inflicted heavy losses

on RSF troops and equipment,
forcing them to flee positions."

"Sudan

The United Nations is gravely concerned
about the escalating attacks in

Sudan's El Fasher, which in the last
two days have resulted in civilian

casualties and intensified hostilities."

"Syria

A commander of the Turkish-backed
Al-Amshat Faction was killed in armed

clashes with other members of the
same faction in Tel Abyad, Syria.

The reason for the conflict was
reportedly due to the faction not

receiving their salaries for two months."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked 76 Chinese military
aircraft, 15 naval vessels,

and four official ships around
its country between 6 a.m.

on Tuesday and 6 a.m.

on Wednesday.

37 aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait
median line in the country’s northern,

central, southwestern, and eastern
Air Defense Identification Zone."

"Ukraine

On April 2, Russian forces launched a
drone attack on a high-rise building

in Kharkiv, injuring four people.

The Molniya drone struck the 8th floor
of a 16-story building, shattering

windows but not causing a fire."

"Ukraine

Russian forces launched a massive drone
strike on Kharkiv overnight, injuring

eight people, including three children.

The attack caused fires in
production buildings and damaged

nearby residential buildings."

"Ukraine

On the night of April 1, Russia
launched an attack on Ukraine using

74 Shahed strike drones and decoy
UAVs from multiple directions.

Ukraine's air defense forces, working
together with aircraft, missile

units, and electronic warfare units,
successfully shot down 41 drones

and neutralized 20 Russian decoy
drones without causing any damage.

The attack affected the Kharkiv,
Donetsk, and Odesa regions."

"Ukraine

A large-scale drone attack on Kharkiv has
caused significant damage and casualties.

According to the Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor
Terekhov, 15 drone strikes targeted the

city, resulting in 8 people injured.

The attack also sparked fires across the
city, including a four-story building

and another building, with damage
reported to over 10 private sector

A Russian missile strike on
Kryvyi Rih has resulted in four

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,410 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 140 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

"Ukraine

On April 1, Russian forces killed
two residents and injured three

others in the Donetsk region.

Damage assessments were not
reported in the attacks."

"Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces
launched 459 attacks across nine

settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region,

The attacks included airstrikes,

The alleged attack comes as Poland gears
up for the elections on May 18 and June

1, with Tusk's party leading the polls."

"Gaza Strip

A mass protest is being held in
northern Gaza's Beit Lahiya, with

crowds calling for the removal
of Hamas and an end to the war.

Protests also took place for three
consecutive days last week and appeared to

die down after reports emerged that Hamas
was threatening and killing participants."

"Hungary

On Tuesday, thousands of people

growing solidarity from the public.

The campaign condemns all executions as
state-sponsored murder and demands the

immediate abolition of the death penalty.

Despite the regime's brutal crackdown
and censorship, families of death

row prisoners are gathering outside
notorious prisons, and activists argue

that the regime's reliance on repression
only deepens the nation's crisis."

"Israel

Hundreds of Israelis, including bereaved
families and reservist organizations,

marched through Jerusalem, demanding
universal enlistment in the IDF.

The rally comes amid a deep social and
political crisis, as the ultra-Orthodox

community resists giving up its blanket
military exemptions for young men.

The High Court ruled in June that
these exemptions must end, but the

government has shown little will to
implement the ruling, leaving the IDF

stretched thin in a prolonged war."

A train derailment occurred on
Monday near the CN rail yard in

Two coaches of the 20810
Nanded-Sambalpur Express derailed

at Vizianagaram Station Yard, but
fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The train continued its journey after
the affected coaches were detached."

"Kenya

Three artisanal miners, aged 21, 33,
and 35, were killed in a mining shaft

collapse in Bondo, Siaya County.

The shaft caved in on Tuesday afternoon,
trapping the miners for several hours

before their bodies were recovered.

Emergency teams attempted to rescue
the miners, but unfortunately,

they were confirmed dead upon
being brought to the mainland."

"Nigeria

A tragic boat collision occurred
on Tuesday evening in the Southern

Ijaw Local Government Area of
Bayelsa State, resulting in two

fatalities and 13 missing passengers.

The incident involved a passenger
speedboat and a fishing vessel,

with divers currently attempting
to locate the missing passengers.

However, rescue efforts are hindered
by poor communication due to inadequate

network coverage in the area."

"Syria

A member of the engineering team
was killed while dismantling a

landmine in Deir Ezzor countryside.

The victim, from Hatla Town,
was working near Al-Taim Field

when the incident occurred."

"Syria

Four people were injured in an explosion
that occurred when a landmine from

war remnants detonated in a car in the
Al-Wady Al-Hamr area of the Palmyra

Desert in eastern Homs countryside."

"Syria

A young girl has lost her life due to
injuries sustained from a cluster bomb

explosion in Souha town, located in the
Salamiyah area of Hama countryside."

"United States

A Cessna 172 plane, owned by a flight
training business, crashed at the Hickory

Regional Airport on April 1 around 8 p.m.

The pilot, the only person on board, was
taken to a medical facility for treatment.

The cause of the crash is unknown and
is under investigation by the FAA,

with the runway currently closed."

"United States

A fatal plane crash occurred
in a farm field near Midvale

on Tuesday shortly after 5 p.m.

The pilot, who was flying solo in
a 1973 Cessna plane, was killed.

The plane took off from Harry Clever
Field in New Philadelphia at 4:40 p.m.

and crashed in Mill Township,
just across the Tuscarawas River

from Five Waters Golf Course.

The National Transportation Safety Board
and the Federal Aviation Administration

are investigating the incident."
