including protests in Turkey and

Israel, so let's get started.

"Turkey

A protest in Istanbul was called
by the main opposition CHP over

the jailing of Ekrem Imamoglu, the
city's mayor and top party figure.

The protests have sparked a repressive
government response, drawing criticism

from abroad and rights groups.

The rally comes ahead of the Eid
al-Fitr celebration, marking the

end of Ramadan, and has been seen
as a challenge to President Recep

Tayyip Erdogan's leadership."

"Israel

Thousands of protesters gathered
across Israel, including in Tel Aviv,

Jerusalem, and Haifa, to demonstrate
against Prime Minister Benjamin

Netanyahu's government and demand
the return of hostages held in Gaza."

"Nepal

A curfew has been imposed in Kathmandu's
Tinkune, Koteshwor, and Sinamangal

areas due to escalating protests between
pro-monarchy groups and security forces.

The protests turned violent,
resulting in property damage,

injuries, and the death of two
individuals, including a journalist.

Approximately 10,000 to 15,000 people
were involved, and 51 have been arrested

on charges of instigating violence.

The curfew has been extended until
Saturday morning, prohibiting movement

and gatherings in the affected regions."

"Nigeria

On Friday, Nigerian forces
attacked a Quds Day demonstration

in Abuja, killing at least 19
protesters and wounding dozens more.

The security forces opened fire on
the protesters, which was held to show

solidarity with the people of Palestine."

"South Korea

Hundreds of thousands of South Koreans
are rallying for and against impeached

President Yoon Suk Yeol as the country's
Constitutional Court decides whether

to officially remove him from office.

The court has until June to issue a
ruling, and if Yoon is dismissed, it

would trigger elections within 60 days.

The protests reflect growing fatigue
and frustration with the ongoing

crises, with supporters and opponents
of Yoon holding differing views on the

legitimacy of his impeachment trial."

"India

On Friday, security forces in the
village of Jimkikir, Tonto area of West

Singhbhum district, recovered and defused
28 suspected Naxal/Maoists Improvised

Explosive Devices (IEDs), explosives,
and detonators from a Naxal hideout,

neutralizing a significant threat."

"India

On Friday, security forces recovered
a large cache of firearms, ammunition,

explosives, and other war materials
during an operation in the Naranseina

and Sunusiphai village area under Moirang
Police Station, Bishnupur District."

"India

On Saturday, security forces seized a
large cache of firearms, ammunition,

explosives, grenades, and other
warlike materials at a buffalo

farm in Wabagai, Kakcing district."

"India

On Friday, security forces recovered
a large cache of explosives, IEDs,

and firearm accessories during an
operation in the village of Kamu,

Mapithel Ridge, under Thoubal Dam
Police Station, Imphal East District."

"Gaza Strip

According to the IDF, three mortars
were fired at troops on the outskirts

of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and an
explosive device hit an armored bulldozer.

Fortunately, no soldiers were
injured in the incidents."

"India

Saturday morning, a suspected
Naxalite/Maoist IED blast injured

a woman as she was collecting mahua
fruits in a forested area in the

village of Bodga, Bijapur district."

"Nigeria

Police operatives arrested 14 suspects
in connection with the mob violence

incident in Uromi that killed 16 people.

The Edo State Police Command has
assured that justice will be pursued

relentlessly and has deployed
tactical teams to maintain order

and restore peace in the area."

"Nigeria

A security operative was killed, and
three others were injured in a violent

attack by members of the proscribed
Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN)

in the Banex Plaza area of Abuja.

Nineteen suspects have been
arrested in connection with the

attack, which involved firearms,
cutlasses, and other lethal weapons.

The police have restored normalcy in the
area and are investigating the incident

to bring the perpetrators to justice."

"Nigeria

A mob in southern Nigeria killed 16
people who were believed to be kidnappers.

The victims, from the north, were
stopped and attacked after local

security personnel found locally
made weapons in their vehicle.

The mob used tires to set the victims
on fire, and videos of the incident

were shared on social media."

"Nigeria

An attack by suspected herders on
the Ruwi village in Plateau State

resulted in the deaths of at least 11
people, including a pregnant woman,

her husband, and a 10-year-old girl.

The attack occurred during a wake
ceremony, and the assailants took

advantage of the solemn occasion
to unleash terror on the mourners."

"Pakistan

On Saturday, a roadside blast
in Upper Orakzai resulted in the

deaths of two Frontier Corps (FC)
personnel and injuries to five others.

The attack occurred when a
remote-controlled improvised

explosive device (IED) struck a
vehicle belonging to FC's 216 Wing.

The security forces have cordoned
off the area and launched a search

operation to track down those
responsible for the attack."

"Pakistan

On Friday, Pakistani forces thwarted
an attack by at least 25 terrorists

on the Lakhani border checkpost
in Dera Ghazi Khan, killing three

militants and wounding several others.

The remaining terrorists fled
the scene, leaving behind

their weapons and equipment.

A search for the other
terrorists was underway."

"Pakistan

On Saturday, a suicide bomber attempted
to target a Balochistan National

Party-Mengal (BNP-M) rally in Mastung
but was intercepted by volunteers before

detonating himself, leaving unharmed
BNP-M leadership and participants.

The suicide blast occurred when
a volunteer stopped a suspicious

individual near the BNP-M protest.

The suspect detonated
himself during the search."

"Pakistan

On Friday, Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP)
terrorists killed seven Pakistani

soldiers and wounded six others
during a clash in the Lakki Marwat

district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Pakistani forces reportedly killed eight
TTP terrorists during the fighting."

"Syria

ISIS members attacked a military
vehicle belonging to the SDF near the

Al-Hawijah junction in the eastern Deir
Ezzor countryside using machine guns.

The incident is part of ongoing
attacks by ISIS on military forces

in the region, but no further details
are available on casualties yet."

"Afghanistan

A US woman, Faye Hall, has been released
from Taliban captivity after being

held alongside a British couple, Peter
and Barbie Reynolds, in Afghanistan.

The release came after the Trump
administration removed bounties

worth millions of dollars
from senior Haqqani officials.

However, the British couple
remains in detention despite the

Taliban's previous assurances that
they would be released together."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

The SADC has reached an agreement
with the M23 rebels to facilitate

the withdrawal of SADC Mission in the
Democratic Republic of Congo (SAMIDRC)

troops and equipment from Goma.

The agreement, signed on March 28,
includes commitments from both parties

to cease hostilities, withdraw troops,
and reopen Goma International Airport.

The SADC will assist in repairing
the airport to facilitate the

withdrawal of SAMIDRC troops.

A follow-up meeting between the SADC
and AFC/M23 is planned in the future."

"Gaza Strip

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya says the
terror group has agreed to a new proposal

from Egyptian mediators, which includes
releasing five Israeli hostages in

exchange for 50 days of ceasefire and
the release of Palestinian prisoners.

However, Israel has submitted
a counterproposal, leaving the

fate of the deal uncertain."

"Gaza Strip

The IDF has issued a final warning
to Palestinians in the Abasan suburbs

of Khan Younis and the towns of
al-Qarara and Khuza'a, following

a mortar attack on their troops.

The area is being evacuated
ahead of potential IDF strikes."

"Greenland

Vice President JD Vance has stated that
the US may not need to use military action

to bring Greenland under its control if
the Greenlanders choose to break from

Denmark and form a deal with the US.

Vance emphasized that Greenland's security
is a top US priority, criticizing Denmark

for failing to support the territory."

"India

On Friday, Mumbai was placed on high
alert due to a social media warning

about potential Hindu-Muslim riots,
arson, and bomb blasts during Eid,

prompting increased security measures.

Mumbai police tightened security
across the metropolis and

patrolled areas like Dongri."

"South Sudan

At least 221 troops from the
Sudan People's Liberation Army-In

Opposition (SPLA-IO) defected to the
South Sudan People's Defense Forces

(SSPDF) and other government forces.

The defecting troops, led by eight
commanders, have denounced violence

and pledged loyalty to the government,
citing a desire to prevent the country

from sliding back into conflict."

"Syria

The US embassy in Syria has issued a
warning to its citizens of an increased

possibility of attacks during the Eid
al-Fitr holiday, which could target

embassies, international organizations,
and Syrian public institutions.

The methods of attack could
include individual attackers,

armed gunmen, or explosive devices.

The embassy advises citizens
not to travel to Syria due to

significant risks of terrorism,
civil unrest, and armed conflict."

"Central African Republic

The United Nations has condemned
the killing of a Kenyan peacekeeper

in the Central African Republic.

The attack occurred during a UN patrol
near the village of Tabant, and the UN

Secretary-General's Special Representative
strongly condemned the attack."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

The Democratic Republic of the Congo
(DRC) and Uganda have agreed to expand

Operation Shujaa, a joint military
campaign, into Bunia, Mahagi, and

Djugu territories in Ituri Province.

The operation is a response to a sharp
escalation in violence, including a

recent attack by CODECO on a displaced
persons' camp and clashes between

the militia and Ugandan forces."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli military is conducting
airstrikes on Beit Lahiya and

Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip,
according to Palestinian media.

Since Israel's intensified military
operations began on March 18, at least 921

Palestinians have been killed, according
to the Hamas-run health ministry.

The Israeli military claims it is
making efforts to avoid targeting

civilians despite operating in areas
where Hamas militants are present."

"India

On Saturday, search operations in the
Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir

entered its third day, with security
forces extending their search to new

areas after recovering the bodies of
two Pakistani militants and a policeman.

The operation began on March 27 after
a gunfight with militants in a remote

forested area, resulting in the deaths of
four police officers and two militants."

"Iraq

On Friday, Iraqi forces conducted
an airstrike on an ISIS hideout

in the western Anbar desert,
killing two suspected terrorists.

The airstrike was followed by
successive explosions inside the

hideout from the destruction of
weapons, ammunition, equipment,

and logistical materials inside."

"Iraq

The Iraqi Army's Eastern Salah al-Din
Operations Command conducted preemptive

operations to ensure security during
the Eid al-Fitr holiday in central Iraq.

The operations resulted in the
killing of 10 terrorists, with two

eliminated in direct engagements
and 8 through airstrikes.

The operations are part of a
comprehensive security plan to

protect public areas in Salah al-Din
Governorate and surrounding regions."

"Myanmar

On Tuesday, March 25, junta soldiers
from the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP)

detained three men of the Maramagyi ethnic
group in Sittwe on charges of supplying

information to the Arakan Army (AA).

The ALP troops warned they
would kill anyone giving

information to the AA insurgents."

"Myanmar

On Wednesday, junta airstrikes
targeted the village of Phakhat,

Mingin Township, resulting in the
destruction of several houses and

the displacement of most residents."

"Pakistan

At least 11 people, including two
women and three children, were

killed in a series of drone strikes
carried out by the Pakistani army

against the Taliban in Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday night."

"Philippines

China deployed two long-range H-6
bombers around the Scarborough

Shoal, a disputed atoll in the South
China Sea, ahead of a visit by U.S.

Defense Secretary Pete
Hegseth to the Philippines.

The deployment is seen as a signal by
Beijing that it has a sophisticated

military presence in the region, and
is likely to be a response to the

US military's presence in the area."

"Somalia

The Somali National Intelligence
and Security Agency (NISA) killed

at least 21 Al-Shabab militants,
including senior leaders and

militia fighters in the Geelgub
area of the Middle Shabelle region.

The operation was a joint air and
ground effort with local Ma'awisley

militia and federal forces."

"Somalia

On Saturday, the U.S.

Africa Command (AFRICOM) conducted
airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in

Somalia's Cal Miskaat Mountain
area of the Bari region.

Casualty figures were unknown."

"Syria

A combatant was injured while removing
soil barriers and landmines on the

Jisr Al-Shoughour-Latakia road and was
taken to the hospital for treatment.

Additionally, three members of Abu Bakr
Al-Sedeq were injured when an old landmine

exploded on a road in Tartus countryside."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked one Chinese
military aircraft, eight naval

vessels, and one official ship
around its country between 6 a.m.

on Friday and Saturday.

The aircraft crossed the median
line of the Taiwan Strait."

"Ukraine

On the night of March 28-29,
Ukraine's Defense Forces intercepted

94 Russian drones, while 69
others disappeared from radar.

The attack, launched from various
locations, was repelled by

Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft
missile troops, electronic warfare

units, and mobile fire groups.

The Russian attack affected several
regions, including Dnipropetrovsk,

Kharkiv, and Sumy, but caused
no damage on the ground."

"Ukraine

Russian forces have launched a drone
attack on the city of Dnipro, resulting

in explosions and several fires.

According to Serhii Lysak, Head
of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional

Military Administration,
residential areas have been damaged.

The full extent of the damage
is still being assessed."

"Ukraine

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,740 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Around 400 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

"Ukraine

A Russian missile attack on
Kryvyi Rih wounded seven people.

The attack caused a passenger car to
catch fire and damaged several buildings,

vehicles, infrastructure, and property."

"Ukraine

A massive attack by Russian drones
in the city of Dnipro resulted

in 4 fatalities and 19 injuries.

The attack caused significant
damage to high-rise buildings,

private homes, garages, and a
hotel and restaurant complex.

Rescuers were able to contain
the fire in the complex.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional
Military Administration reported that

most of the drones were shot down, but
the situation is still being assessed."

"Ukraine

On the night of March 28-29, 30
Russian drones were spotted in

Kyiv airspace and its vicinity.

Air defense forces successfully
destroyed 16 of them, while the

remaining drones either disappeared
from radar or left the area."

"Ukraine

A 48-year-old man was injured in
a house after a drone attack in

Bilozerka, suffering an explosive
injury, contusion, and a broken rib.

This incident follows a previous
drone attack at 12:30 on Friday

that had injured a 37-year-old man
and another attack that damaged an

educational institution in the area."

"Ukraine

Russian forces have attacked the
Polohy district in the Zaporizhzhia

region, damaging private houses, but
fortunately, there were no casualties.

This is one of over 480 strikes
launched by Russian forces in the

region over the previous day."

"Ukraine

Russian forces have carried out attacks in
the Kharkiv region, targeting Slatyne and

Kozacha Lopan with glide bombs and drones.

The attacks resulted in a
12-year-old child experiencing an

acute stress reaction in Slatyne,
a 39-year-old man being injured

in Kozacha Lopan, and a civilian
vehicle being significantly damaged.

Additionally, a Molniya-type
drone was launched at Derhachi

but failed to detonate after
falling in a residential area."

"Ukraine

Russian forces shelled the Velykopysarivka
community in the Sumy region, resulting in

the death of a 63-year-old farm worker."

"United States

The US has deployed at least four B-2
stealth bombers to Diego Garcia in

the Indian Ocean, a move that allows
for airstrikes against Yemen's Houthis

without relying on Middle Eastern bases.

These bombers are also within range
of Iran, making them a potential

asset in any future conflicts."

"West Bank

Hours after settlers attacked Jinba
in the southern West Bank, settlers

and soldiers reportedly raided
the village, destroying property.

22 villagers were initially arrested,
but 17 were released within 24

hours, with one released on bail
and the rest without conditions.

The IDF claims the raid was part
of a planned operation to locate

weapons and is investigating
allegations that forces deviated

from procedures during the searches."

"Yemen

The US has conducted airstrikes on
multiple areas in Yemen controlled by

the Iranian-backed Houthis, killing at
least one civilian and wounding four

others in the governorate of Saada.

The strikes targeted military and
intelligence sites, and the full

extent of the damage and possible
casualties is not yet clear.

The US has stepped up its bombing campaign
against the Houthis in response to their

attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping."

"Yemen

The Houthi group in Yemen reported that
US airstrikes have resulted in the ""total

destruction"" of communication networks in
the northern provinces of Omran and Saada.

The attacks, which allegedly targeted
civilian infrastructure and basic

services, are said to have destroyed
broadcasting stations, communication

towers, and messaging networks."

"New Zealand

A light plane crashed in Central
Otago's Dingle Burn Valley, near

Lake Hāwea, north of Wānaka.

The sole occupant has survived
but is in a serious condition.

Rescue crews, assisted by Fire
and Emergency NZ, transported the

injured person to Dunedin Hospital.

Police are now investigating
the scene of the crash."

"Syria

A civilian and two children lost their
lives due to the explosion of a landmine

in the Palmyra Desert, eastern Homs.

The incident occurred in the
Tayariya Shoaib area when the

victims were in a car, resulting
in fatal injuries from shrapnel."

"Syria

A child was injured in Al-Mayadeen
City, Deir Ezzor, when shrapnel from

an exploded war remnant shell hit him,
resulting in the amputation of his hand."

"United States

A cropduster plane crashed in western
Craighead County on Friday morning, but

the pilot survived with no injuries.

The pilot clipped the top of
a farm machine while spraying

a field, leading to the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration
will be investigating the incident."

"United States

A small helicopter owned by a
property owner in Chuluota, Seminole

County, made an unplanned landing
in a backyard on Friday night.

The pilot, who was the only
occupant, was not injured despite

the helicopter tipping over.

The incident is being investigated by
the Federal Aviation Administration,

and the pilot reported that a gust
of wind may have caused the crash."

"United States

A SOCATA TBM7 plane has crashed
in a residential area of Brooklyn

Park, Minnesota, near Noble
Parkway and 109th Avenue North.

The plane, which departed from
Des Moines International Airport

in Iowa, was headed to Anoka
County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis.

The incident occurred around 12:20 p.m.

on Saturday, with at least one
house reportedly engulfed in flames.

The number of people on board
and potential injuries or

fatalities are currently unknown,
with local officials and Gov.

Tim Walz monitoring the situation."

"United States

A single-engine airplane made an emergency
landing in a field near the Bennettsville

airport due to an engine problem.

The pilot, the only person
on board, was not injured.

The plane, a Van's RV-8 built in 1999, was
upright in the field after the incident.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
will investigate the cause of the crash."
