Tuesday, we collected 55 events,
including a gang releasing hundreds of

prisoners in Haiti, so let's get started.

"Haiti

On Monday, the powerful gang coalition
Viv Ansanm stormed a prison in

Haiti's central region, releasing
more than 500 inmates, including 27

women, 410 men, and 14 juveniles.

The attack began on Sunday night
in Mirebalais, a rural town near

the Dominican Republic border,
where gangs burned a police

substation and several cars.

The prison housed 516 inmates, with only
65 having been sentenced by a judge."

"West Bank

The IDF has located a bomb-making lab
in Tulkarem, used to produce roadside

explosive devices and pipe bombs.

In separate operations, the IDF and
Shin Bet agents detained 27 wanted

Palestinians in the West Bank,
including 12 in Qabatiya and Tammun."

"Ethiopia

Two children, aged 7 and 4, were
killed in the Arba Minch area of

south Ethiopia by armed groups.

The attack also targeted the residence
of a district government official,

but no casualties were reported.

The government suspects that the
armed groups, linked to the opposition

party Ethiopian Citizens For Social
Justice (EZEMA), are demanding a

change in government structure.

In response, EZEMA has denied involvement
in the attack, accusing the district

administration of a ""character
assassination campaign"" and labeling

its members as ""extremists."""

"Gaza Strip

Members of the Abu Samra clan in Gaza
have executed a Hamas operative who

they claim was responsible for the
shooting death of one of their relatives.

The incident highlights growing anger
among Gaza civilians towards Hamas, with

protests against the group having taken
place across the Strip in recent days."

"India

An operative linked to Pakistan's
Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)

agency, Jaiveer Tyagi alias Jawed,
was arrested in Ludhiana with a

hand grenade, preventing a planned
attack on government infrastructure."

"India

Police have arrested six individuals,
including a family of five, for

allegedly providing support to militants
involved in the Kathua encounter.

The family, with past links to terrorism,
is believed to have helped the militants

with food, shelter, and logistics.

The encounter on March 29 resulted
in the killing of two militants

and three others escaping.

Security forces are conducting
massive search operations in

the region, suspecting that more
militants may be hiding in the area."

"Israel

A rocket launched from the northern
Gaza Strip was successfully intercepted

by Israeli air defenses, with
sirens sounding in the nearby town

of Sderot and surrounding areas.

No injuries or damage have been reported."

"Kosovo

Early Tuesday morning, a grenade
explosion occurred at the Kosovo

Post building in Zveçan, causing
material damage but no injuries.

Police found an unexploded grenade
and secured the scene while residents

were evacuated as a precaution.

Anti-terror units are investigating the
incident and searching for the suspects."

"Nigeria

The village of Olena in Benue State has
been under attack by suspected herdsmen

for the past four days, resulting
in multiple deaths and abductions.

Residents have fled their homes,
with one resident reporting that they

escaped with their family under the
cover of darkness, citing a lack of

external help from security agents.

The situation is described as
serious, with ongoing attacks

and no sign of rescue."

"Philippines

On Monday, security forces arrested a
former member of the Abu Sayyaf Group

(ASG), Abu Raba, in Barangay Dita,
Zamboanga City, after 15 years in hiding.

Raba, 52, was wanted for kidnapping
and serious illegal detention and

was allegedly involved in several
violent incidents, including the

Golden Harvest kidnapping in 2001."

"Philippines

Tuesday morning, unknown gunmen
ambushed and killed two women in

Barangay Kibayao, Cotabato province."

"Sudan

An attack on a refugee camp in North
Darfur state, Sudan, has resulted in

at least two deaths and seven injuries.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF),
led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo,

are blamed for the attack.

The conflict between the RSF and
the Sudanese military has led

to a humanitarian crisis, with
over 12 million people displaced

and tens of thousands killed."

"Syria

A member of the Military Operations
Administration was killed in

an attack by unknown gunmen
in the Latakia countryside."

"Syria

A security patrol in Najha, Syria,
came under attack from armed elements

believed to be former regime remnants.

The incident resulted in two
attackers being killed and

several others wounded, with no
casualties among security personnel.

The area was cordoned off, and an
operation was launched to uncover

abandoned weapons and ammunition."

"Syria

In Al-Sanamayn city, northern Daraa,
unidentified gunmen attacked a post

belonging to the General Security
forces, injuring a member of the forces.

The attack led to armed clashes
between the two sides, with the gunmen

firing RPGs before fleeing the scene."

"West Bank

Masked Israeli settlers have attacked
the Palestinian village of Duma in

the northern West Bank, targeting
civilian homes and setting some on fire.

The Israel Defense Forces have been
deployed to deal with the situation,

and five settlers have been detained."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli military (IDF) has issued
an evacuation warning for Palestinians

in the Beit Hanoun area of the Gaza
Strip following rocket fire from the

northern Gaza Strip that targeted Sderot.

The IDF has published a map of the area
to be evacuated, calling it a ""final

warning"" before carrying out strikes.

The rocket fired at Sderot
was intercepted, and no

injuries were reported."

"Iran

An adviser to Iran's supreme leader
suggested that if Iran is attacked,

it would have no choice but to acquire
a nuclear weapon to defend itself.

This statement comes in response to a
threat made by US President Donald Trump

regarding the Iranian nuclear issue."

"Iran

Iran's Revolutionary Guard naval
forces have seized two foreign oil

tankers in the Persian Gulf, accusing
them of smuggling diesel fuel.

The tankers, carrying over 3 million
liters of fuel, were intercepted by the

IRGC Second Naval District and are being
transferred to the port of Bushehr."

"Iran

The US Treasury Department has imposed
new sanctions on six entities and two

individuals in Iran, China, and the
UAE, accusing them of being part of an

Iranian weapons procurement network.

The sanctions target one Iranian-based
entity and two people based in

Iran, one entity based in China,
and four UAE-based entities.

The move is part of US President Donald
Trump's ""maximum pressure"" campaign

on Iran, aimed at preventing Tehran
from developing a nuclear weapon."

"Myanmar

A 7.7-magnitude

earthquake has struck central
Myanmar, killing over 2,700 people

and leaving many in dire need of aid.

However, the military junta is facing
criticism for blocking emergency supplies

and conducting airstrikes on villages.

International agencies have condemned
the response, with reports of aid being

diverted or confiscated by the military.

Doctors and opposition leaders have
accused the junta of leveraging

control of checkpoints to block
medicine and aid from reaching

affected areas, with the opposition
calling for aid to bypass the junta."

"Philippines

On Sunday, a New People's Army (NPA)
rebel, identified as ""Rebisco/Buhay,""

surrendered to authorities in
Surigao del Sur after 20 years.

The rebels turned over an AK-47 rifle
with ammunition and a rifle grenade."

"Philippines

On Tuesday, an NPA rebel surrendered to
government forces at Camp Monteclaro,

Barangay Igtuba, Miagao, Iloilo.

The individual turned over an M16 rifle,
a short magazine, and 20 rounds of 5.56mm

ammunition."

"Taiwan

China's Eastern Theater Command
announced joint army, navy, and

rocket force exercises around
Taiwan on Tuesday, April 1.

The drills, which involve the Shandong
aircraft carrier group, aim to test joint

operation capabilities and serve as a
warning against Taiwan's independence.

The Ministry of National Defense in
Taiwan has been monitoring the movements

of Chinese military assets and views the
exercises as a challenge to international

order and regional stability."

"India

On Monday night, security forces
engaged in a fierce gun battle with

three militants in the mountainous
Panjtirthi area between Ghati

and Billawar in Kathua district.

According to officials, the exchange
of fire lasted for approximately

40 minutes before ceasing.

The gunfight resumed on Tuesday
morning after the militants were

spotted making their way towards
the Billawar mountains, prompting

security personnel to engage them.

This marks the third gunfight in Kathua
over the past nine days as security

forces intensify operations in the region.

Earlier in the day, security
forces continued extensive search

operations in Ghati Heights
for the fifth consecutive day."

"Lebanon

At least four people were killed
and seven others wounded in an

early morning Israeli airstrike on
the apartment of a top Hezbollah

official, Hassan Bdair, in Beirut.

Israel claims that Bdair was a member of
Iran's Quds Force and was working with

Hamas to plan attacks against Israelis."

"Lebanon

The Israeli military, along with Shin
Bet and Mossad, has conducted a strike in

Beirut, targeting a member of Hezbollah
and the Iranian IRGC Quds Force.

Hassan Bdair, a member of
Hezbollah's Unit 3900 and the Quds

Force, was killed in the strike.

The target was planning a significant and
imminent terrorist attack against Israeli

civilians, and the strike was carried out
to prevent the attack from happening."

"Myanmar

On Monday, fighting broke out near Lawa
Village in Hpakant Township between

the junta army and its ally, the
Warazut militia group, and a Kachin

Independence Army (KIA)-led rebel
coalition, according to a resident

of Lawa Village who spoke to KNG.

The military situation in that area
has remained tense since then."

"Myanmar

On Sunday, Kachin Independence Army
(KIA) rebels clashed with junta forces

around the KIA-controlled village
of Warshang, Waingmar Township."

"Myanmar

On Tuesday, ethnic Ta’ang National
Liberation Army (TNLA) rebels clashed with

Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army
(MNDAA) in Kutkai, northern Shan State.

The altercation occurred after
TNLA troops confronted MNDAA

members collecting donations on
the highway for earthquake victims.

The TNLA captured Kutkai
in January of last year."

"Myanmar

The Myanmar military junta is continuing
airstrikes in areas affected by last

week's massive earthquake, hampering
rescue efforts and humanitarian aid.

The junta forces have carried out multiple
airstrikes across Myanmar, targeting

Shan state's Nawnghkio township three
times, Kachin state's Bhamo township

twice, Phyu township in Bago region,
Pauk township in Magway region, and

Demoso township in Kayah state once each.

The attacks killed at least nine
people and injured seven others.

The death toll from the quake has
risen to over 2,700, with 4,521

people injured and 441 missing."

"Somalia

On Monday, the Somali National Army,
backed by local militia fighters,

successfully repelled a major Al-Shabab
assault in the Sabiib and Canole

areas of the Lower Shabelle region.

Troops killed 30 militants in
ground operations, and an airstrike

targeting Al-Shabab fighters
killed an additional 40 militants."

"Somalia

Puntland security forces recovered
over ten bodies of ISIS militants and

various documents following a U.S.

airstrike in Togga Malowle, Bari
region, last Saturday, March 29."

"Spain

Spanish security forces have launched
an operation targeting a Hezbollah

cell in Barcelona, focusing on
Lebanese nationals and involving

the country's intelligence services.

The investigation is being overseen by
the state prosecutor's office and is

expected to result in additional arrests."

"Sudan

On Sunday, Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) shelled El Fasher, killing at

least nine civilians and injuring 17.

The Sudanese Air Force repelled an
RSF ground assault on El Fasher,

eliminating dozens of RSF fighters
and destroying four military vehicles.

Subsequent airstrikes targeted an
RSF supply convoy, destroying 12

combat vehicles and compelling the
paramilitary group to retreat."

"Sudan

On Sunday, paramilitary Rapid Support
Forces (RSF) attacked the town of

El Obeid in North Kordofan, killing
a child and injuring eight others."

"Sudan

Saturday evening, a Sundanese airstrike on
the Shangil Tobaya refugee camp in North

Darfur seriously injured five people."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked 19 Chinese naval vessels
around its country between 6 a.m.

on Monday and 6 a.m.

on Tuesday.

Taiwan sent aircraft and naval ships
and deployed coastal-based missile

systems to monitor PLA activity."

"Ukraine

On March 31, a Russian attack in the
Donetsk region resulted in the death of

one resident and wounding of another.

Damage assessments were not
reported in the attacks."

"Ukraine

Russian drones are currently attacking
the village of Malokaterynivka

following a previous aerial
bombing by the Russian army.

The local community has advised residents
to take cover due to the ongoing attack."

"Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Krasnopillia
on April 1, destroying the local

house of culture and sparking a fire.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The State Emergency Service units
successfully extinguished the flames.

Approximately 150 residents
remain in the village, with all

children having been evacuated."

"Ukraine

Russian forces launched approximately
30 attacks on the Nikopol district in

the Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday,
April 1, injuring three people,

including a 14-year-old teenager.

The attacks, which used heavy artillery
and kamikaze drones, caused a fire and

damaged seven private houses, several
cars, a garage, and power lines."

"Ukraine

Ukraine's air defense forces successfully
intercepted two Kh-59/69 missiles

launched by Russia in the Zaporizhzhia
sector, marking the first time in

2025 that a large-scale drone attack
by Russia was not reported overnight.

Damage assessments were not
reported from the debris."

"Ukraine

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,540 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 160 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

"Western Sahara

Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation
Army (SPLA) have targeted a Moroccan

command post in the Amgala sector, causing
heavy losses in lives and equipment,

according to a military statement."

"Russia

Russian Railways has been affected
by a large-scale cyberattack

on April 1, rendering its
website and app inaccessible.

The company describes the incident
as a massive DDoS attack, and efforts

are underway to restore operations."

"Dominican Republic

On March 30, 2025, an anti-Haitian protest
led by the nationalist group Antigua

Orden Dominicana (AOD) turned violent
in Hoyo de Friusa, Dominican Republic.

The protest, which called for the
expulsion of undocumented Haitian

migrants, escalated into clashes with
police and resulted in several arrests.

The demonstration was one of several
anti-Haitian protests planned in the

region amid ongoing tensions between
Haiti and the Dominican Republic."

"Serbia

Thousands of Serbians marched in four
cities on Monday to protest government

pressure and hate speech directed at
university students and professors.

The protests were organized after a
woman attacked a faculty dean with

a knife, which protesters blamed
on a hate campaign fueled by top

officials and pro-government media.

The demonstrations reflect a wider
discontent with the rule of populist

President Aleksandar Vucic, who
has struggled to quell persistent

demonstrations triggered by a
train station canopy collapse in

November that killed 16 people."

"Zimbabwe

Activists called a nationwide
shutdown on March 31, resulting

in a significant disruption in
major cities across the country.

Businesses were closed, streets
were empty, and schools had low

attendance due to safety concerns.

The protest, which was met with a
heavy police presence, saw skirmishes

and running battles between protesters
and security forces in Harare.

Despite government officials dismissing
the shutdown as insignificant, opposition

figures and civil society groups declared
it a success, citing the deserted streets

as a strong message to authorities."

"India

A train accident occurred in Barhait,
Jharkhand, on Tuesday when two coal-laden

freight trains collided head-on.

The crash resulted in the
deaths of two drivers and

severe injuries to five others.

An investigation has been ordered, with
initial findings suggesting a possible

operational error led to the crash."

"India

A trainer aircraft crashed in Mehsana
district, injuring a female trainee pilot.

According to reports, over 530 Indian
Air Force aircraft have been involved

in accidents over the last 30 years,
resulting in the loss of 152 pilots."

"Malaysia

A massive fire broke out in Putra Heights,
Selangor, Malaysia, on Tuesday, triggered

by a gas leak from a Petronas pipeline.

The incident injured over
100 people, with 63 requiring

hospitalization, and damaged 49 houses.

Authorities have isolated the pipeline,
and rescue operations are ongoing."

"Somalia

A UN-operated De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft
(DH8D) experienced a nose wheel failure

during a flight from Mogadishu to Baidoa.

The crew safely executed a belly
landing at Mogadishu's Aden Abdulle

International Airport, resulting in
no casualties or significant damage.

Authorities are investigating
the cause of the incident and

working to clear the runway."

"South Africa

A light aircraft crashed in
Durban, near Beachwood, resulting

in two hospitalizations.

The aircraft was found in trees,
and the occupants were transported

privately for medical care.

This incident follows another
recent incident where a light

aircraft made an emergency landing
on the beach near Durban's blue

lagoon due to engine failure."

"Syria

An explosion occurred in Abu
Qalqal village, eastern Aleppo,

injuring six people, including
three from Shash Al-Bouina village.

The incident happened while a group of
residents were heading to the Teshreen

dam, where they were gathering to
demand permission to return to their

villages from the Syrian government."
