Friday morning, a grenade blast
at a home in the settlement of
Hindarkh killed five people and
injured two others from a family.
An investigation of the
incident was underway."

On Tuesday, Indo-Tibetan Border Police
(ITBP) arrested three Maoist rebels
during an operation in the Kodaliyar
jungle area of the Narayanpur district.
The individuals were involved in an
IED blast on October 19, 2024, that
killed three ITBP jawans and injured
two Bastat Fighters personnel."

The National Investigation Agency
(NIA) has apprehended two overground
workers (OGWs) affiliated with the
banned CPI (Maoist) terrorist group.
The arrests were made on Thursday in
connection with the 2023 Chhattisgarh
Assembly election improvised
explosive device (IED) blast case
that killed a police constable."
"Iraq
An explosive-laden drone attacked a
Kurdish refugee camp in Erbil province.
No casualties or damage were
reported in the attack."
"Nigeria
The Chairman of the Abia State Independent
Electoral Commission (ABSIEC), Prof.
George Chima, was kidnapped from
his home in Okigwe, Imo State.
Four armed individuals invaded his
residence while he was entertaining
lecturers from Abia State
University and took him hostage.
They attempted to escape with him in his
vehicle, but it wouldnt start, so they
commandeered another vehicle and fled."
"Nigeria
The Kano State Police Command has
arrested the wife and two associates
of a Chadian terrorist wanted for
killing 17 people in his home country.
The arrests were made
before a ceremony in Kano.
The police commissioner revealed that
the suspect had plans to establish
a terrorist base in the state.
Improvised explosive devices (IEDs)
were recovered during the operation."
"Philippines
On Tuesday, government forces clashed
twice with New peoples Army (NPA)
rebels in Barangay Pong-on, San Agustin.
During the first clash, troops recovered
an AK-47 rifle and other materials.
During the second, troops
captured four NPA insurgents."
"Philippines
On Friday, an unknown gunman ambushed
and killed the director of the
citys Registry of Deeds while he was
driving his vehicle in Zamboanga City.
The assailant fled on a waiting
motorcycle after the attack."
"Syria
Security Administration Forces arrested
Atif Najib, the cousin of Bashar
Al-Assad, in the Latakia countryside.
He was hiding on a farm
in the Jableh countryside.
Atif Najib was the head of the Political
Security in Daraa and played a role
in the start of the Syrian revolution.
He arrested and tortured children in
Daraa for writing sentences criticizing
the regime on their school walls."
"Syria
Gunmen attacked civilian buses
and cars near the Barraq area in
Rif Dimashq, killing a woman and a
young man and injuring eight others.
Five of the injured were taken
to Al-Radi Hospital in Jaramana."
"Thailand
On Monday, Thai security forces shot
dead four armed men suspected of being
members of the Barisan Revolusi Nasional
(BRN) Pattani during a shoot-out.
The shoot-out took place in Kampung
Charak Vakong, Krong Pinang district.
Before the shoot-out, the security
forces had negotiated with the
suspects hiding in the house.
However, they tried to escape and
opened fire on the security forces."
"West Bank
The Israeli Defense Forces shot two
suspects throwing firebombs in the
Palestinian village of al-Khader.
The suspects were spotted by the 636th
Combat Intelligence Collection Unit.
No injuries were reported from the
Molotov cocktails thrown at Route 60."
"West Bank
Fires have been set outside the
home of a Palestinian olive grower
in the West Bank village of Burin.
The grower, Bashar Eid, witnessed
settlers from an illegal
outpost starting the fires.
Settlers have repeatedly attacked him, and
his olive groves have been vandalized."
Military Conflict
"Democratic Republic of Congo
On Thursday, M23 rebels reported that
hundreds of Congolese soldiers, members
of government-allied militias, and
police officers surrendered in Goma.
An M23 political leader stated that the
Congolese troops would be sent to training
centers, where they would be trained on
the importance of the M23 army and then
become full members of the revolution."
"Democratic Republic of Congo
M23 insurgents are advancing south
to capture the city of Kavumu, which
has a strategic military airport.
As of Thursday, fighting was
concentrated some 19 miles from the city.
The military airfield is where
the Congolese army has laid its
defensive line 40 km north of South
kivus provincial capital, Bukavu.
The United Nations has expressed
concern over credible reports
indicating the M23 rebel group is
rapidly advancing towards Bukavu."
"Democratic Republic of Congo
On Thursday, the Democratic Republic
of congos electoral body accused the
Rwandan army and M23 rebels of looting
polling office facilities and warehouses
in Goma on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The insurgents allegedly allegedly took
vehicles, motorcycles, and electoral
kits from Goma to neighboring Rwanda.
On Thursday, during a news conference,
the M23 rebel group claimed to
have seized control of Goma, the
capital of North Kivu province."
"India
The Army foiled an infiltration
bid on the Line of Control (LoC)
in Jammu and kashmirs Poonch
district and killed two terrorists.
The operation is still ongoing.
In a post, the White Knight Corps
provided details of the engagement
and mentioned the recovery of
weapons and war-like stores."
"Iraq
On Friday, Turkish forces ""neutralized""
six Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)
terrorists during an operation in
the Gara region of northern Iraq.
Turkish authorities use the
term âneutralizeâ to indicate
that the individuals were either
killed, wounded, or captured."
"Lebanon
Israeli fighter jets conducted
airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in
the Beqaa Valley of eastern Lebanon.
The targets included a military facility
with an underground weapons manufacturing
site and infrastructure at border
crossings used for arms smuggling.
The airstrikes were in response to
Hezbollah launching a surveillance
drone at Israel, which violated
the ceasefire agreement."
"Myanmar
On Sunday, Arakan Army (AA) insurgents
captured the strategic Moehtitaung
junta military camp located on
the Rakhine Yoma mountain range."
"Myanmar
Earlier this week, Arakan Army (AA)
insurgents advanced to the village
of Nyaungkyo in Padaung Township,
where they are currently engaged
in clashes with the junta forces.
The junta is conducting heavy
artillery strikes on the insurgents.
Junta troops in Nyaungkyo have
received reinforcements from several
junta camps and towns in the area.
Nyaungkyo village is approximately 10
miles from Moehtitaung and roughly 15
miles from Nyaung Chay Htauk, which
houses the regimes Weapons Factory No.
6."
"Myanmar
This week, pro-junta and resistance
forces reported casualties as both
sides utilized drones in clashes
over junta positions along the border
between Sagaing regions Tamu Township
and the Indian state of Manipur.
According to a frontline resistance
fighter, Myanmar junta forces were
positioned in the villages of Kyun Pin
Thar and Min Thar, located approximately
17 miles northeast of Tamu and less than
2 miles east of the international border."

Earlier this week, myanmars military
launched a series of airstrikes
and drone attacks on Buddhist
monasteries in the eastern Bago Region,
according to resistance sources.
The attacks, which began on Monday
and continued into the following day,
targeted two villages in the village
of Nyaungpingyi, Nyaunglebin Township,
killing at least one woman and forcing
hundreds of villagers to flee their homes.
Another airstrike on Kyaung
Thit Monastery in Nyaungpingyi
reportedly wounded four civilians."
"Myanmar
According to an anonymous source within
the Karen National Union (KNU), the junta
military has deployed additional troops
to its Kamamaung base in Hpapun Township.
The source says the KNLA and allied
resistance forces attacked the
Kataingti military base in Mutraw,
prompting all junta forces to
evacuate the now-deserted outpost.
After abandoning the base, the retreating
regime troops moved through the jungle
and took refuge in nearby villages.
The military has continued to
provide air support in the area.
The junta has over 10 bases
operational within the KNU-controlled
Mutraw (Hpapun) District."
"Pakistan
A Pakistan Army Major and a soldier
were killed during an operation
in North Waziristan, where six
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)
terrorists were also eliminated.
The security forces recovered weapons
and ammunition during the operation."
"Russia
North Korean soldiers who fought alongside
Russian forces against the Ukrainian
Defense Forces in the Kursk region have
been withdrawn due to heavy losses.
The US believes the withdrawal may be
temporary and expects the North Koreans
to return after additional training or
if the Russians find new ways to use
them without suffering heavy casualties.
The North Korean military is
struggling to be effective against
Ukrainian drones and artillery."
"Russia
Units of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems
Forces and the Ukrainian Defense
ministrys Main Intelligence Directorate,
in coordination with other Ukrainian
Defense Forces formations, attacked
the Lukoil-Volgogradnaftopererabotka
refinery in russias Volgograd region.
This refinery is one of russias
largest and plays a role in
supplying the Russian military."
"Sudan
Sudanese forces are reportedly
advancing closer to the presidential
palace in central Khartoum to
reclaim it since Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) captured it in April 2023.
Sudanese troops are engaged in fierce
clashes with RSF forces in the area.
The Sudanese military has
also advanced into the Al-Azba
district in Bahri, recapturing the
Dardoug and Nibta neighborhoods.
Additionally, the troops are
approaching the Al-Shuqla area in East
Nile, Bahri, and have secured gains
in the Umm Badda area of Omdurman.
The Sudanese army has also reasserted
control over the Rmaila, Al-Hilla
Al-Jadida, and portions of the Jabra
neighborhoods within Khartoum."
"Sudan
The Sudanese army reported on
Thursday that it had reclaimed
key areas of Khartoum Bahri and
was close to fully dislodging the
rival Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Military sources reported that troops
had advanced into the Al-Azba district
and the eastern part of Kafouri, one of
the rsfs last strongholds in the city.
Intense clashes, including the use
of artillery and drones, persisted
in the eastern districts of Khartoum
Bahri until Thursday afternoon.
Concurrently, the army reported
assaults on the Dardoq and Nabta
suburbs, located east of the city."
"Sudan
On Thursday, Sudanese forces recaptured
Umm Ruwaba, nearly two years after
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized it.
Sudan claimed RSF troops suffered
heavy losses during the fighting.
The capture of Umm Ruwaba could strengthen
the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) position
in South Kordofan, easing pressure on
their forces in Abu Jubeiha and Kadugli.
In these areas, the Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) and SPLM-North have laid sieges
that have cut off supply routes to
the 10th and 14th infantry divisions.
The 10th Infantry Division,
isolated in Abu Jubeiha, could also
reconnect with the 18th Infantry
Division from the south after their
forces linked up in Umm Ruwaba."
"Syria
Turkish forces are escalating their
military actions in northeastern Syria,
with artillery and air bombardment
targeting positions controlled by the SDF.
Villages in Ain Al-Arab (Kobane) and Ain
Issa countryside have been heavily hit,
but no casualties have been reported.
In response, the SDF has also fired
artillery at pro-Turkey factions.
The tension in the region persists, with
ongoing military operations affecting
populated areas and infrastructure."
"Syria
Turkish forces and SDF have
been involved in drone attacks,
clashes, and exchanges of fire.
Five Turkish-backed militiamen
were killed and eight others
injured in an SDF drone attack.
An SDF fighter was killed and three others
injured in Turkish drone airstrikes.
A civilian also died in the airstrikes.
Eight militiamen of the ""National
Army"" were killed in an SDF attack.
In retaliation for the Sarin massacre,
SDF special units targeted a Turkish
base, injuring several soldiers
and damaging military vehicles."
"Syria
Turkish forces and their proxies launched
an artillery attack on Al-Haymmar village
in northern Al-Raqqah, injuring farmers
working in their agricultural land."
"Syria
A Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)
fighter was killed and another injured
in an attack by a Turkish drone on
a military post in Abu Rasin town.
Turkish artillery also targeted
positions in the Tel Tamr countryside,
but no casualties have been reported."

On Friday, Turkish forces ""neutralized""
seven Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)
terrorists during operations in the
Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation
Peace Spring areas in northern Syria.
Turkish authorities use the

Taiwan tracked seven Chinese
military aircraft and five vessels
around its country between 6 a.m.
on Friday and Saturday.
Five of the aircraft crossed the median
line of the Taiwan Strait and entered
the countrys northern and southwestern
Air Defense Identification Zone."
"Ukraine
Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,670 Russian
soldiers over the past day.
Around 220 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."
"Ukraine
As a result of a drone attack on
Chornomorsk, a local clinic and
several buildings were damaged,
and the electricity supply was
disrupted in part of the city.
DTEK emergency teams are
working to restore power.
Four people were injured,
including a surgeon."

In the Khmelnytskyi region, private houses
were damaged in a Russian UAV attack.
The attack caused damage to windows,
facades, and fences in three homes.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
The air defense forces destroyed
six Russian UAVs in the region."

shot down 59 Russian UAVs, and 37
drones failed to reach their targets.
The Russians launched a total of 102
attack UAVs and decoy drones from
various locations in Russia and Crimea.
The drones were shot down over

The headquarters of the Ukrainian
Red Cross emergency response team
in Sloviansk, Donetsk region,
was damaged by a Russian strike.
This is the third time the
headquarters has been hit."

Nine civilians were injured
in the Kherson region due to
Russian shelling and airstrikes.
The Russian forces targeted multiple
locations in the region, causing damage
to buildings, structures, and vehicles."
"Ukraine
The Russians have once again shelled
communities in the Nikopol district
of Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting
in two civilians being wounded.
The attacks damaged several houses,
an outbuilding, a car, and a gas pipe.
The air defense forces also shot
down two Russian drones in the area."

Russian forces launched a missile
attack on the historic center of Odesa.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military
Administration announced the attack and
urged residents to stay in shelters.
Explosions were heard
during the air raid alert."

During the day, the Russian army
attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove
districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
A 47-year-old man was wounded.
The attacks damaged industrial
enterprises, a car, a trailer,
five private houses, a
shop, and a gas pipeline."
"West Bank
The IDF reports that two Palestinian
gunmen who killed a soldier and
injured five others in the Jenin
refugee camp were eliminated by troops.
Staff Sgt.
Liam Hazi was killed during an
exchange of fire, and the gunmen
initially managed to escape.
However, they were later surrounded
in another building and killed
after another exchange of fire."
Political Conflict
"Chad
The French army has handed over its
last base in Chad, marking the end of
frances military presence in the country.
Chad ended military cooperation
with France in November, and French
troops began leaving in December.
The handover of the Kossei base
was done according to the wishes
of the Chadian authorities.
French troops had previously withdrawn
from two other bases in Chad.

the cooperation agreements
with France were outdated.

has been reduced, with a focus
on restructuring its presence
in West and Central Africa.
A French base in Djibouti is being
developed for future missions in Africa."
"Gaza Strip
The three Israeli hostages set to be
released from Gaza are Ofer Calderon,
Keith Siegel, and Yarden Bibas.
Siegel, a US citizen, was taken
captive with his wife Aviva, but
she was freed in November 2023.
Calderon and his two children were
kidnapped and his children were
later released during a ceasefire.
Bibas was kidnapped separately from
his wife and children, and Hamas claims
that some of them have been killed."
"Gaza Strip
The Rafah Border Crossing between Egypt
and the Gaza Strip is set to reopen for
the passage of Palestinian civilians
today, according to the Kan broadcaster.
This is part of a hostage-ceasefire deal
between Israel and the Hamas terror group.
The crossing will be monitored by a
European security force and Palestinian
officials not affiliated with Hamas.
The crossing had been closed since May
when Israel seized the area, worsening the
humanitarian crisis caused by the war."

On Friday, myanmars military government
announced another six-month extension
of its mandate to continue ruling the
country in preparation for elections,
which it stated will be held this year.
This extension comes as Myanmar
enters its fifth year of ongoing
political and social crisis."
"Norway
Norwegian police have seized a
Norwegian ship with an all-Russian
crew on suspicion of damaging a
telecoms cable in the Baltic Sea.
The ship, named Silver Dania, was seized
at the request of Latvian authorities.
Sweden and Latvia are investigating
the suspected sabotage of a
cable linking the two countries.
The ship seizures in Norway and Sweden
are related to the same incident."

"Egypt
Several hundred Egyptians gather
at the Rafah Border Crossing to
protest trumps proposal for Gazans
to seek refuge in Egypt and Jordan.
They waved Palestinian flags, held
photos of President el-Sissi, and
rejected the displacement plans.
The protest coincides with the reopening
of the crossing for Palestinian
civilians under a ceasefire deal.
The EU has also restarted its civilian
mission to monitor the crossing."

Thousands of demonstrators gathered
in Germany to protest the conservative
CDU/CSU parties after chancellor candidate
Friedrich Merz worked with the far-right
AfD to push anti-immigration legislation.
The crowd size at CDU headquarters
was estimated at 6,000, and
organizers accused Merz of making
AfD extremism socially acceptable.
The vote was criticized as a breach
of the post-war German taboo against
cooperation with extremist parties.
Protesters also gathered in Dresden,
where Merz was holding a campaign rally."
"Indonesia
Dozens of Indonesians protested at the
Malaysian embassy in Jakarta after an
Indonesian migrant worker was shot dead by
the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency.
The incident has caused a national
outcry in Indonesia, with demands
for a thorough investigation
into the use of excessive force."
"Philippines
Thousands of protesters in Manila
are demanding the impeachment of
Philippines Vice President Sara Duterte.
Duterte faces three impeachment
complaints over alleged misconduct
and misuse of government funds.
Legislators have yet to address the
complaints before Congress adjourns
for the May midterm elections.
An impeachment requires the support
of one-third of House members and
a two-thirds vote in the Senate.
Duterte denies the allegations,
calling them politically motivated.
Duterte and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
campaigned together in the 2022 elections.
Marcos has urged Congress not

Hundreds of striking students in
Serbia are marching towards Novi Sad
to protest against corruption and
demand justice for a railway station
collapse that killed 15 people.
In Belgrade, a car was driven into a
silent protest, injuring two doctors.
The protests have already led to the
resignation of the prime minister."

"Iraq
On Friday, Popular Mobilization
Forces (PMF) announced that one
of its units discovered and safely
detonated an ISIS-bomb-rigged
vehicle in western Al-Anbar province.
The booby-trapped vehicle was
buried beneath the rubble of
a previously bombed house.
It contained several IEDs and 12 gas
cylinders primed for detonation."
"Yemen
In Lahj provinces al-Sabiha region,
government forces intercepted a vehicle
carrying a shipment of ammunition.
The cargo included 120mm
mortar shells and 12.7mm
rounds, likely intended for
Houthi-controlled areas.
The operation was successful due to
careful monitoring, and the joint
security campaign continues to
combat arms and goods smuggling."
Accidents
"Afghanistan
On Friday, a remnant mortar shell
blast killed three children in the
Alishang district of Laghman province."
"Iraq
A bus carrying Iraqi Shiite pilgrims
collided with a car, resulting in at
least seven deaths and over 40 injuries.
The accident occurred on the
road from Diwaniyah province to
the holy shrine city of Najaf.
The casualties included passengers from
both vehicles, and the pilgrims were
from the southern province of Basra."
"Kenya
A light aircraft crashed in
the Kedong ranch in Naivasha,
killing Marcus Dunn and Anne Dunn.
Poor visibility due to fog may
have contributed to the crash.
It took over six hours to reach the
crash site and recover the bodies.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority
is conducting investigations."
"Pakistan
On Friday, three Shalimar Express train
coaches derailed near Sheikhupura.
All passengers aboard
the train were safe."
"St Kitts and Nevis
Nineteen bodies were found drifting
in a boat off the coast of St.
Kitts and Nevis.
Authorities believe the boat
originated from the West African
coast with migrants on board.
This is the first such discovery in
recent memory in the twin-island nation.
The bodies are in an advanced
state of decomposition, making
identification challenging.
An investigation is underway to determine
the circumstances surrounding the deaths."
"Syria
Two civilians were killed and four
others injured by landmine explosions
in aleppos eastern countryside.
A landmine explosion in Tel Hasel
town also injured two children.
Additionally, a young man was
injured while collecting fire logs
in Latakia countryside, and a child
was seriously injured by a grenade
explosion in Al-Mayadeen city."
"United States
On Thursday, a CSX freight train
derailed in the village of Chatham.
There were no injuries in the incident."
"United States
A Learjet 55 carrying six
people crashed in Northeast
Philadelphia, setting houses ablaze.
The aircraft was operated by
Jet Rescue Air Ambulance and was
traveling from Philadelphia to
Tijuana with a stop in Missouri.
All six on board were Mexican nationals.
At least six people were admitted to the
hospital with injuries, but it is unclear
if they were on board or on the ground.
Law enforcement has cordoned off the
area, and residents are advised to
contact 911 if they find debris."

"Israel
The State prosecutors Office has filed
indictments against two IDF reservists
for alleged espionage on behalf of Iran.
The defendants, Yuri Eliasfov
and Georgi Andreyev, are charged
with serious offenses including
contact with a foreign agent and
transferring classified information.
They were in contact with an Iranian
agent and carried out actions
intended to harm state security.
Eliasfov is accused of passing
sensitive material about missile defense
technology to his Iranian handler.
Andreyev served in the Air
forces operational headquarters.
The two are also accused of
spray-painting pro-Iranian graffiti
and hanging banners in Tel Aviv."
