On Sunday, at least 31 suspected Maoist
rebels and two police officers were killed
and two other police injured during a
clash in a forest area in central India.
The operation was launched by
hundreds of police and paramilitary
soldiers in the Indravati National
Forest area of Chhattisgarh state
based on intelligence that a large
number of rebels had gathered there."
"India
On Saturday, police arrested a
People's Liberation Army (PLA)
militant in the Kangjabi Leirak
Machin area of Imphal West."
"India
On Saturday, police arrested two United
National Liberation Front (UNLF-Pambei)
militants during an operation in the Naran
Konjil area of the Imphal West District.
Police seized one .32
pistol and Rs 3,120 in cash
from their possession."
"Libya
On Friday, Libya authorities discovered
nearly 50 bodies in two mass graves in the
southeastern desert, with some migrants
shot and killed before being buried.
The first mass grave was found on a
farm in the southeast city of Kufra.
The second mass grave was discovered
in Kufra after authorities raided
a human trafficking center."
"Nigeria
On Saturday, troops under Operation
FANSAN killed over 50 terrorists,
injured 25 others, and seized control
of the Tungan Fulani Hills in Zamfara
State, a strategic location for arms
smuggling and terrorist activities.
Among those killed were top commanders."
"Nigeria
Armed terrorists abducted six
teenage girls, aged 15 to 17, during
a midnight raid on Wednesday in
Pandogari Community, Niger State.
The attack resulted in the
death of a local vigilante.
It was the third attack on
the community within a week."
"Philippines
Armed men set fire to heavy equipment
in La Libertad, Negros Oriental.
Two backhoes, a loader, and
a dump truck were destroyed.
The equipment was being
used by a contractor working
on a farm-to-market road.
Authorities suspect the New People's Army
(NPA) may be responsible for the attack
as part of their extortion activities."
"South Sudan
Communal clashes between the Gony,
Amothnhom, and Panyon communities at the
Lueng cattle camp in Rumbek Centre County,
Lakes State, have resulted in one death
and seven injuries, including two girls."
"Syria
Unidentified gunmen threw grenades near
the criminal security branch in Latakia.
No casualties were reported.
The criminal security service is on
high alert and conducting patrols
to search for the attackers."
"Syria
A civilian was killed, and two others
were injured in rocket fire by Lebanese
Hezbollah in Al-Hawz village in the
western countryside of Al-Qusayr in
Homs, near the Syria-Lebanon border."
"Syria
ISIS cells have carried out
attacks in eastern Deir Ezzor.
In Al-Baq'an town, a motorcycle-borne
ISIS cell targeted two vehicles
of the Hajin Military Council.
In Al-Busayrah town, another ISIS cell
attacked the SDF's military headquarters.
No casualties have been
reported in either incident."
Military Conflict
"Chad
A recent clash between the Sudan
Liberation Movement (SLM), the
Gathering of Liberation Forces of
Sudan (GLFS), and the Chadian army
resulted in the death of six soldiers
and the wounding of 13 others.
Two commanders were captured
during the fighting.
The incident occurred in the tri-border
area between Sudan, Libya, and Chad,
where the alliance forces were advancing."
"Gaza Strip
A Hamas official confirms that the
Israeli military has withdrawn from
the eastern portion of the Netzarim
Corridor in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces have dismantled their
positions and military posts, and vehicles
can now pass freely in both directions.
There are currently no Israeli
troops present on the corridor.
The Israel Defense Forces has not
yet commented on the situation."
"Gaza Strip
Palestinian media reports three people
were killed by Israeli fire near Gaza
City as suspects approached the border.
A separate incident resulted in the death
of a Palestinian woman in southern Gaza.
IDF warns against approaching the Israeli
border and buffer zone inside Gaza."
"Gaza Strip
The IDF fired warning shots at
Palestinian suspects who posed a threat
in multiple areas in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Navy also encountered a
Palestinian vessel that crossed a maritime
boundary, but it returned to the coast
of Gaza after warning shots were fired."
"Iraq
Turkish security forces have neutralized
seven terrorists in the Gara region
and four in the Hakurk region through
air operations in northern Iraq.
Damage assessments were not
reported in the operations."
"Israel
The IDF opened fire on
Palestinians approaching the
Gaza Strip border near Nahal Oz.
The suspects came close to the
troops stationed in a buffer
zone, prompting the forces to move
forward and fire warning shots.
Some of the suspects were hit,
causing the group to retreat."
"Lebanon
Lebanese media reports Israeli
airstrikes near the villages of Houmine,
Aazze, and Kafroue in the Nabatieh
Governorate, close to the Israeli border.
The IDF has not provided
any immediate comment."
"Myanmar
The Arakan Army (AA) has launched
an intense artillery strike on junta
bases on the outskirts of Sittwe,
a town in Arakan State, Myanmar.
The attack, which began on Saturday,
is said to be the AA's first major
artillery strike in the area, targeting
junta camps and police stations.
The AA has been targeting junta
checkpoints and troops in the
region, leading to exchanges of
gunfire and a rise in tensions."
"Nigeria
Nigerian Army troops have
neutralized four notorious bandits
in Ruwan Kunku, a village along the
Gusau-Magami highway in Zamfara State.
The operation carried out as part of
the TSAFTADAJI III-Phase 2, targeted
terrorists responsible for multiple
kidnappings and attacks on travelers."
"Syria
Turkish drones conducted three
airstrikes on SDF positions near
Al-Jaraniya Town in western Al-Raqqa.
No casualties were reported."
"Syria
Syrian media reports an alleged
Israeli airstrike at the Khalkhalah
airbase in Suwayda in southern Syria.
The IDF has not provided
any immediate comment.
This is not the first time the IDF has
targeted the military airport, as they
previously struck it in December during
the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime."
"Syria
Turkish forces launched artillery
shells on three villages in the
Tel Tamr countryside, resulting
in significant material damage.
In response, the SDF retaliated by
firing rockets at the Turkish forces'
Manakh base, causing successive
explosions but no reported casualties."

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense
reported that four members of the PKK
were neutralized in northern Syria.
The ministry stated that the PKK members
had opened fire to disrupt the peace and
security in the Peace Spring region."
"Taiwan
Taiwan tracked 14 Chinese military
aircraft and six naval vessels
around its country between 6 a.m.
Saturday and 6 a.m.
Sunday.
Nine aircraft crossed the Taiwan
Strait median line and entered
the northern and southwestern
Air Defense Identification Zone."
"Ukraine
The Russian army injured five civilians
in the Donetsk region, four in
Pokrovsk and one in Kostiantynivka.
Damage assessments were not
reported in the attacks."
"Ukraine
On Saturday night, Russia launched 151
Shahed-type attack UAVs and decoy drones
at Ukraine from multiple locations.
Ukraine's air defense systems
successfully shot down 70 drones,
with another 74 Russian decoy
drones disappearing from radar.
Reports of damage have been confirmed
in several Ukrainian regions."
"Ukraine
Two men were injured in Nikopol,
Dnipropetrovsk region, as a
result of a kamikaze drone attack.
One victim sustained a blast injury
and shrapnel wounds, while the other
was hospitalized in severe condition.
A gas station and a car were also
damaged in the district center.
Additionally, a guided aerial bomb
struck the Novopavlivka community,
but no casualties were reported."
"Ukraine
In the Zaporizhzhia region, there were
342 Russian attacks over the last day.
The attacks resulted in two adults and
two children being wounded in Huliaypole.
The Russians carried out air strikes,
UAV attacks, and artillery strikes on
multiple localities, causing damage
to apartments, houses, and vehicles."
"Ukraine
A Russian missile hit an
industrial zone in Sumy, according
to Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.
There were no casualties reported.
This incident follows a fire in
a private residential building
in Sumy that was extinguished
after a Russian drone strike."
"Ukraine
Russian troops fired 10 times
at the border area of the
Sumy region, damaging houses.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration
reported that 12 explosions were
recorded, affecting several communities.
The Sad community experienced damage
from a UAV attack while glide bombs
were dropped on Sumy and Khotin.
The Yunakivka community was hit by
a guided aerial bomb and artillery.
Bilopillia and Romny communities
were also affected, with
two private houses damaged."
"Ukraine
Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,460 Russian
soldiers over the past day.
Over 250 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."
"Ukraine
Russian forces attacked the Derhachi
community in the Kharkiv region, damaging
seven houses and power lines and leaving
five settlements without electricity.
No casualties were reported."
"Ukraine
Throughout the day, the Russian
army attacked communities in the
Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring four
civilians and damaging infrastructure.
The attacks involved heavy artillery,
FPV drones, and kamikaze drones.
The Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Marhanets,
and Myrove communities were affected.
Two people were wounded in
Nikopol and two more in Marhanets.
The attacks caused damage to various
buildings, gas pipelines, and power lines.
Stepnohirsk was also attacked,
resulting in damage to private houses."
"West Bank
Sundus Shalabi, a pregnant Palestinian
woman, was fatally shot by IDF
gunfire while attempting to leave
a refugee camp in the West Bank.
Her husband was also injured.
The Israeli military is investigating
the incident, which occurred during a
counter-terror operation in the area."
"West Bank
The IDF is expanding its counter-terrorism
offensive in the northern West
Bank, with troops operating in
the Nur Shams camp near Tulkarem.
They have shot terror operatives
and detained wanted Palestinians.
The offensive, called Operation Iron
Wall, started on January 21 and will
continue for several more weeks."
Political Conflict
"Democratic Republic of Congo
East African leaders have called for an
immediate and unconditional ceasefire in
the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to
end the deadly fighting between government
forces and the Rwanda-backed M23 rebels.
The Southern African Development Community
and East African Community blocs urged
all warring parties to hold peace talks
within five days, citing a ""collective
responsibility"" to end the conflict."
"Egypt
Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit
on February 27 to discuss ""serious""
developments for Palestinians.
The summit was called after
extensive consultations with Arab
countries, including Palestine,
which requested the meeting.
Bahrain, the current chair
of the Arab League, is also
involved in the coordination.
The summit is in response to global
condemnation of US President Donald
Trump's suggestion to ""take over the
Gaza Strip"" from Israel and resettle
Palestinians elsewhere to create
a ""Riviera of the Middle East."""
"North Korea
On Saturday, North Korean leader
Kim Jong Un stated that the US-South
Korea-Japan trilateral security
partnership poses a grave threat to
his country and has vowed to bolster
his nuclear weapons program further.
Kim's statement implies that he is
unlikely to engage in diplomacy with the
US anytime soon, despite President Trump's
overture to meet and revive diplomacy."
"Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia and Qatar rejected Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks
about displacing Palestinians from Gaza.
Israeli officials have suggested a
Palestinian state on Saudi territory
after US President Donald Trump discussed
his plans to displace Gazans last week."
"Thailand
The U.S.
has suspended a refugee resettlement deal
with Thailand, halting the relocation
of thousands of Myanmar families.
The decision, made by President Donald
Trump, follows the suspension of the U.S.
Refugee Admissions Program.
This move has put a hold on the
resettlement of around 90,000
refugees in Thailand, who have been
living in camps along the border
with Myanmar since the 1980s.
The refugees, predominantly ethnic
minority Karen, have been waiting
for a chance to resettle in the U.S.
for over a year."

"France
Thousands of Iranians and their
supporters gathered in Paris on
Saturday to demand greater international
pressure on Iran's ruling clerics.
The rally, organized by the National
Council of Resistance of Iran
(NCRI), comes as the opposition
abroad has been emboldened by the
fall of Syrian President Bashar
al-Assad, a longtime ally of Tehran."
"Serbia
Striking university students in
Serbia blocked a bridge in Belgrade
and roads throughout the country to
mark 100 days since a train station
collapse that killed 15 people.
The blockades are part of a campaign
led by students demanding justice and
protesting government corruption."
"United Kingdom
On Saturday, protesters representing
Tibetan, Uyghur, Chinese, and Hong Kong
rights groups rallied against China's
proposed ""mega-embassy"" in London.
Waving flags and carrying placards,
the demonstrators voiced fears that
Beijing would use the building to harass
and monitor dissidents living abroad.
The organizers estimated that
approximately 4,000 people participated
in the protest at the proposed embassy
site, the historic former Royal Mint
Court near the Tower of London, just
days before a crucial inquiry session
was scheduled to begin on Tuesday."

Lee Enterprises, the parent company of
newspapers across the US, experienced
a cybersecurity event that impacted
its operations and systems nationwide.
They are currently investigating
the situation to determine if
any information was affected.
Additionally, there were
reports of newspaper delivery
issues earlier in the week."
Weapons
"Israel
The IDF successfully stopped a
weapons smuggling attempt from Egypt
into Israel today using a drone.
The drone was spotted crossing the
border, and soldiers pursued it,
discovering three rifles onboard."
"Nepal
A mortar bomb was found near an army
barrack in Western Rukum, Nepal,
prompting a bomb disposal team
from the police post to defuse it."
Active Shooting
"United States
A man was killed and a woman injured in a
shooting at Main Event in Highlands Ranch.
Deputies responded to reports of an
active shooter and ordered the man to
drop his weapon, but he didn't comply.
The deputy fired, hitting
the man, who later died.
Inside, a woman was found shot
and taken to the hospital.
The suspected shooter was arrested,
and another woman was hospitalized for
a non-life-threatening medical issue.
The investigation is ongoing, but
there is no danger to the public."
Accidents
"Germany
According to initial police
reports, a helicopter belonging
to a private company crashed near
the Hofburg Palace in Greding.
Two pilots on board died in the
crash, which occurred near an airport.
The German Federal Aviation Administration
will investigate the incident."
"Iraq
Four people were killed and two
others injured in an explosion
caused by a landmine in the
Rumaila desert in southern Iraq.
The incident occurred while a
family was passing through the area.
The injured individuals were taken
to the hospital for treatment."
"Mexico
A deadly traffic accident in southern
Mexico has resulted in the deaths
of 41 people, with the bus carrying
48 passengers colliding with a
truck near the city of Escarcega.
The accident occurred in the early
hours of Saturday morning and caused
the bus to catch fire, leaving
only the metal frame remaining."

Stranded tanker Koala loaded with

(DSU) Program plane crashed at
Delaware Airpark north of Dover on
Friday evening, with the pilot and
passenger safely exiting the aircraft.
The incident is believed to be related
to fuel issues, as the plane ran out
of fuel and overturned upon impact."

A Green Line train collided with
a parked train at the MBTA East
Somerville Station, resulting in five
people being taken to the hospital.
The collision caused one
car on each train to derail.
All four operators involved in the

A plane crashed near Kyle Canyon
on Saturday, according to the Las
