Thursday, we collected 73 events,
including several events impacting

India-Pakistan relations,
following the terrorist attack on

tourists, so let's get started.

India suspended the Indus Waters
Treaty in a strong response to Pakistan

regarding the cross-border linkages
identified in the terror attack

on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and
Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26

people, including a foreign national.

India also closed the Attari
border over cross-border terrorism.

In another diplomatic move, India
has labeled Pakistan’s military

personnel, including naval and air
advisors, as Persona Non Grata.

These individuals must leave
the Indian High Commission

in New Delhi within a week.

India will also withdraw its
defence officials from the Pakistani

High Commission in Islamabad.

" Pakistan's National Security Committee
(NSC) has issued a stern warning to

India, stating that any attempt to divert
or stop the flow of water belonging to

Pakistan will be considered an act of war.

In response to India's decision
to suspend the Indus Water Treaty,

Pakistan has suspended all trade with
India, closed its airspace to Indian

aircraft, and reduced the strength of
the Indian High Commission in Islamabad

to 30 diplomats and staff members."

A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan,
Constable PK Singh, was detained by

Pakistan Rangers after accidentally
crossing the Punjab border.

He was in uniform and carrying a
service rifle when he was apprehended

near the Ferozepur border.

A flag meeting is underway to secure
his release, and officials are working

to resolve the matter amicably."

"Bangladesh

On Wednesday afternoon, Myanmar
Arakan Army rebels abducted two

Bangladeshi fishermen, Badshah Alam
and Abul Kalam, from the Naf River

in the Whykong area of Teknaf.

This incident has instilled fear among
local fishermen, who have been living

in anxiety due to similar occurrences.

The Ukhia 64 BGB Battalion is looking into
the situation, and the victims' families

have not yet submitted a complaint."

"France

A 15-year-old student attacked
three others with a knife at

Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides high
school in western France, resulting

in the death of at least one teenager.

A staff member subdued the attacker
until police arrived to make an arrest.

Four people were treated for
injuries, with the condition of

the others unclear at this time.

Following the incident, parents have
begun collecting their children from

the school due to safety concerns,
and police have blocked surrounding

roads in the city of Nantes."

"India

On Wednesday, Indian security forces
exchanged gunfire with militants

from The Resistance Front (TRF),
a Pakistan-based group, in the

Tangmarg area of southern Kashmir.

This confrontation followed a tragic
incident a day earlier when terrorists

killed 26 individuals, primarily tourists,
in a scenic meadow in Kashmir, India.

Additionally, Indian troops shot
two terrorists attempting to

infiltrate India on the same day."

"India

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad (ATS)
arrested Mangat Singh, a long-absconding

terrorist of the banned Khalistan
Commando Force (KCF), who had been

evading arrest for nearly 30 years.

Mangat Singh, also known as Manga,
is the younger brother of Sangat

Singh, the former chief of the KCF.

He was arrested in his native village
in Amritsar, Punjab, after a joint

team of ATS and Sahibabad Police
tracked him down using intelligence

inputs and technical surveillance."

"India

Security forces in West Singhbhum
district have successfully

recovered and defused a 1.5

kg Improvised Explosive Device
(IED) planted by Maoist insurgents.

The IED was detected during a joint
operation involving district police,

Jharkhand Jaguar, and Central Reserve
Police Force (CRPF) personnel."

"India

Three militants were arrested
in separate operations in

Manipur's Imphal East district.

The arrested individuals are
associated with the banned Kangleipak

Communist Party (Nongdrenkhomba),
Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup, and PREPAK.

A large cache of arms and ammunition,
including three SMG carbines

and four hand grenades, was also
recovered from one of the locations."

"India

On Thursday, terrorists killed
an Indian Army soldier during a

gun battle in the Dudu-Basantgarh
area of the Ukhampur district.

A search operation in the area was
underway to find those involved."

"Nigeria

A notorious bandit leader, Harisu Babba
Yauni, was killed in a clash with a rival

gang in Yauni Forest, Katsina State.

Yauni and 10 of his men were attacked and
killed by a rival faction from Kambarau,

Tudun Dole, and Kauyen Mahuta Forests.

Yauni was a target for the police
due to his involvement in the killing

of Mobile Police Force personnel
and innocent residents in Zakka."

"Nigeria

On Tuesday, Fulani gunmen killed two
people and wounded a soldier in an

ambush in Irigwe community, Bassa
Local Government Area, Plateau State.

The gunmen also destroyed
over 20 farmlands."

"Pakistan

A powerful roadside explosion
in the rural Amiri area of Kalat

district, Pakistan, has killed three
people, including two women and

a child, and injured five others.

The blast occurred when an
improvised explosive device (IED)

was detonated as a vehicle passed by,
destroying the vehicle completely.

The injured have been transferred
to Quetta for advanced treatment."

"Pakistan

On Wednesday, police arrested two
injured suspected terrorists following

a clash in the jurisdiction of Shorkot
Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan.

Police seized two 9mm pistols and
ammunition from the suspects."

"Pakistan

On Wednesday, unidentified terrorists
initiated a rocket strike targeting a

traffic police vehicle in proximity to
the Darra Pezu Bazaar within the Lakki

Marwat district at approximately 5:00 a.m.

Police officials reported that the
explosion caused minor injuries to

Traffic In-Charge Imran and driver
Islamuddin, and the vehicle was

entirely consumed by the ensuing fire."

"Philippines

Mayor Joel Ruma of Cagayan,
Philippines, was shot and

killed during an election rally.

He was rushed to the hospital but
was pronounced dead on arrival.

A civilian was also wounded in the
attack, prompting a police investigation.

Authorities have launched search
operations to identify the suspects

and ensure a peaceful 2025 election."

"Philippines

On Wednesday, at least 10 NPA rebels
clashed with government forces in Real

Town, Quezon province, wounding a soldier.

An unspecified number of insurgents
may have been injured in the fighting.

A search for the rebel was underway."

"Somalia

The al-Shabaab terrorist group launched
a pre-dawn attack on a strategic

Somali army base in Wargaadhi village.

The attack resulted in heavy
fighting between the Somali

National Army, supported by
local militias, and al-Shabaab.

According to the Somali Defense
Ministry, Wargaadhi remains under

military control despite al-Shabaab's
claims of capturing the village."

"South Africa

A shootout between rival gangs of illegal
miners occurred near Golden Drive and

New Modder mining sites on April 23,
causing fear and panic among residents.

The violence is believed to
be over control of recently

sealed-off mining shafts, and no
police responded to the scene.

A local security company, Hlasela
Tactical, intervened and helped calm the

situation, but expressed concern over the
SAPS's absence and the public's safety."

"Syria

In Janata village, Latakia, a
civilian was injured after being shot

at by two gunmen on a motorcycle.

The gunmen had allegedly interrogated
the civilian about possessing weapons,

and the victim had previously worked
in customs during the Al-Assad regime."

"West Bank

Twenty Breslov Hasidim entered the
Palestinian village of Kifl Haris in the

West Bank without permission, throwing
stones and leaving the area quickly.

No Palestinian injuries were reported,
and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)

have not commented on the incident."

"West Bank

Israeli settlers in the Jordan Valley
of the West Bank have reportedly torched

a home and adjacent agricultural lands
in the Palestinian village of Bardala.

Israeli authorities have blocked
local ambulances and firetrucks

from reaching the scene."

"West Bank

Israeli security forces, including
Undercover Border Police and IDF troops,

have arrested the head of a terror cell
in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus.

The suspect was apprehended after a
brief exchange of fire, and a second

wanted individual was also detained.

The arrest was met with violent
riots, but there were no

reports of Israeli injuries."

"West Bank

Settlers entered the Palestinian
village of Bardala in the West

Bank, setting buildings on fire and
injuring two residents with gunfire.

IDF forces later dispersed
the settlers and Palestinians,

but no arrests have been made.

The incident has not yet
received a response from the

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
and Rwandan-backed M23 rebels have

agreed to a ceasefire until peace talks
mediated by Qatar reach their conclusion.

This truce comes after more than
a week of talks, which both sides

described as ""frank and constructive.""

The conflict has intensified since
January, with over 7,000 people

killed, and the DRC accuses Rwanda
of arming the M23 and sending

troops to support the rebels."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
have issued an evacuation warning to

Palestinians residing in Beit Hanoun
and the Sheikh Zayed neighborhood

in the northern Gaza Strip.

The warning comes in response to
sniper attacks on troops and other

activity by terror groups in the area.

The IDF is urging Palestinians
to head for Gaza City."

"Iran

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is
demanding that Iran give up all nuclear

enrichment to avoid armed conflict.

Iran insists its nuclear program is
for civilian energy use and refuses to

give up its ability to enrich uranium.

The talks, led by Middle East
envoy Steve Witkoff, have been

ongoing, with a second round of
negotiations being held on Saturday.

The US is seeking a tougher agreement
on Iran's nuclear program, while

Iran wants the easing of sanctions
that have damaged its economy."

"Iraq

Five PKK militants have surrendered
to the Turkish forces in the

Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq.

Three PKK militants fled last week, while
two others gave up after being tracked

down by Turkish forces in a cave."

"Lebanon

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry has told
Iran's ambassador to Lebanon to refrain

from interfering in the country's
internal affairs, after he criticized

efforts to disarm Iran-backed Hezbollah.

The ambassador, Mojtaba Amani, had accused
Lebanon of conspiring with the US to

disarm Hezbollah, which has responded by
saying it will not let anyone disarm it.

Lebanon's Foreign Minister has
reaffirmed the country's rejection

of foreign interference and
support for positive neutrality and

mutual respect for sovereignty."

"United States

US President Donald Trump has criticized
Russian leader Vladimir Putin over

the recent missile strikes on Kyiv,
calling for a ceasefire and urging

both sides to agree to a peace deal.

Trump expressed his dissatisfaction
on social media, saying ""STOP!""

and emphasizing the need
to end the conflict."

"Gaza Strip

Thirteen people have been reported killed
in overnight Israeli strikes throughout

Gaza, according to reports from the Strip.

The Israeli military has not
yet commented on the strikes."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli military has conducted an
airstrike in northern Gaza's Jabalia,

targeting a command center used by Hamas
and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives.

The site was used to plan and carry out
attacks on Israeli civilians and troops.

At least nine people were killed in the
strike, which the IDF says was carried out

with precision to minimize civilian harm.

The military also accused Hamas and
Palestinian Islamic Jihad of violating

international law by using civilian
infrastructure for terror purposes."

"Iraq

Turkiye has significantly expanded
its military presence in the Kurdistan

Region of northern Iraq, with over 10,000
soldiers stationed in over 80 locations.

The move comes after the Kurdistan
Workers' Party (PKK) declared a ceasefire,

and Turkish forces have reinforced
their presence in at least 12 locations,

including the Zilkan base near Bashiq."

"Myanmar

On Monday, a junta military airstrike
struck a monastery in the village

of Aidain, northeast of Sagaing
Township, injuring six monks and

civilians, including four medical
workers treating earthquake victims."

"Myanmar

Reports indicate that junta forces in
Naypyidaw are preparing a counteroffensive

to regain control of Nawnghkio
Township in northern Shan State,

which the Ta’ang National Liberation
Army (TNLA) captured on July 10.

The junta is deploying troops and
supplies to Taunghkam village and

has supplied Russian-made drones
to Taunghkam on April 1, capable of

overcoming Chinese-made drone jamming
systems utilized by resistance forces."

"Nigeria

A security threat is emerging from the
Baruten Local Government Area in Nigeria,

where a terrorist group identified as
Mahmuda is reportedly planning a covert

escape into the Benin Republic through
border communities in Kwara State.

The group, which had previously used
routes through northwestern Nigeria,

is now seeking alternative routes
due to heightened military presence.

A top security source has issued an
urgent call to action to government

authorities and local leadership to block
the group's escape routes and prevent them

from fleeing into the Benin Republic."

"Philippines

The Chinese aircraft carrier CNS Shandong
has deployed to the Philippine Sea,

marking its second deployment this month.

The carrier strike group is operating
approximately 200 nautical miles east

of the Philippine island of Luzon, and
its presence is seen as a potential

response to the ongoing U.S.-Philippines

Balikatan 2025 exercise."

"South Sudan

Clashes between South Sudan's army
(SSPDF) and opposition forces (SPLA-IO)

in Morobo County, Central Equatoria State,
have resulted in the displacement of an

estimated 1,185 households (7,110 people).

The displaced families are fleeing areas
such as Panyume, Kendila, Girili, and

Waima, with many arriving in Morobo town."

"South Sudan

The South Sudan People's Defence Forces
(SSPDF) have recaptured Nasir and Ulang

counties in Upper Nile State without
violence, according to Major General

Lul Ruai Koang, the army's spokesperson.

Community leaders in the areas
facilitated the recapture by persuading

the White Army, a militia linked to
the Sudan People's Liberation Army in

Opposition (SPLA-IO), to stand down.

Lul dismissed accusations from
SPLA-IO that the SSPDF used

excessive force, stating that the
takeover occurred peacefully."

"Sudan

The Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) troop movements have been

noted in Wad Banda, El Sunut, and
Um Adara, encircling the critical

city of En Nuhud in West Kordofan.

Local sources express concern that the
RSF may be gearing up for another attack."

"Sudan

On Tuesday, paramilitary Rapid Support
Forces (RSF) reportedly killed at

least eight civilians and injured
20 others during mortar attacks on

residential neighborhoods in El Fasher."

"Sudan

A Sudanese airstrike targeted RSF
positions in Banbanousa, South Kordofan.

Casualty figures and damage
assessments were not reported."

"Sudan

On Monday, Sudanese airstrikes
targeted paramilitary Rapid Support

Forces (RSF) positions in the El
Malha area of North Darfur, as

well as Bara in North Kordofan."

"Sudan

The Sudanese army claims to have
killed 60 militants and injured 52

others from the Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) on Wednesday in El-Fasher, North

Darfur State, after a violent attack.

Sudanese forces stated they
repelled the RSF attack.

An RSF artillery attack in the
city on Wednesday killed five

civilians and wounded 40 others."

"Syria

Russian air defenses in Syria
shot down a drone over the

Tartous countryside, causing loud
explosions in the coastal region.

The remnants of the drone landed in the
western Sheikh Al-Badr countryside between

Al-Mousha and Al-Kafroun villages."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked 19 Chinese military
aircraft, seven naval vessels,

and two official ships around
its country between 6 a.m.

on Wednesday and 6 a.m.

on Thursday.

14 aircraft crossed the Taiwan
Strait median line in the country’s

southwestern and eastern Air
Defense Identification Zone."

"Ukraine

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,060 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 320 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

"Ukraine

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii
Klitschko, a massive Russian

attack on Kyiv has resulted in
the confirmed death of 8 people.

The search and rescue operation
is ongoing, with 77 people

seeking medical assistance and 31
hospitalized, including five children.

A total of 12 buildings were damaged
in the attack, and a support center

has been set up in the Sviatoshynskyi
district for those affected."

"Ukraine

Russian forces launched a massive
nighttime attack on Ukraine, targeting

primarily Kyiv with 215 aerial targets.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces
successfully destroyed 112 of these

targets, including ballistic missiles,
cruise missiles, guided aerial

missiles, and Shahed attack drones.

Ukrainian fighter jets, including F-16
and Mirage aircraft, played a significant

role in defending against the attack, with
the majority of targets being shot down."

Explosions were reported in
various locations across Crimea

on April 23, including Armiansk,
Simferopol, and Yevpatoria.

Social media reports suggest
that Russian fighter jets were

searching for drones in the area.

Additionally, the occupying
authorities blocked traffic across

Russian drones attacked the
Kyiv region, causing significant

shops, and a preschool education

institution in the Bucha district.

Russian troops attacked the Kutsurubska
community in the Mykolaiv region with

FPV drones, injuring a 72-year-old woman.

She was hospitalized and

On April 24, the Russian army attacked
the village of Riasne in the Sumy

region from the air, resulting in three
men being hospitalized with injuries.

The attack damaged several buildings,
including a shop, the building of the

starosta district, and private houses.

The wounded men were taken to a
hospital in moderate condition."

A massive Russian missile and drone
attack on Ukraine resulted in 9 deaths

and over 80 injuries across the country.

The attack, which occurred on the night
of April 24, involved around 70 missiles

and 150 drones, causing significant
destruction and ongoing rescue operations.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has
condemned the attack and called

for international pressure and
accountability for Russia's actions.

He has also announced plans to cancel
part of his visit to South Africa

and return to Ukraine immediately."

"Ukraine

Russian forces carried out aerial
attacks in the Donetsk region of Ukraine,

causing harm and damage to civilians.

In Chernihivka, one person was injured
and aerial bombs damaged seven houses.

In Sloviansk, the attacks resulted
in the death of a 74-year-old man and

the injury of a 72-year-old woman,
with 17 private houses also damaged."

"Ukraine

Two railway workers were wounded in a
combined Russian attack in Ukraine, with

one in Zhytomyr and the other in Kyiv.

The condition of both
workers is satisfactory.

The attack also damaged technical
tracks and administrative buildings

in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, but
train schedules remain on track."

"Ukraine

The Zhytomyr region in Ukraine
was hit by combined Russian air

attacks, resulting in damage to
State Emergency Service equipment,

garages, and residential buildings.

A rescuer was injured during the
strikes, and a fire broke out, covering

an area of 2,500 square meters."

"Yemen

US warplanes conducted six airstrikes
in Yemen's Saada governorate on

Wednesday, according to the Houthi group.

Casualty figures were not
reported in the strikes."

"Hungary

Police quickly dispersed an
anti-government protest in Budapest on

Tuesday, but the Momentum Movement and
Independent MP Ákos Hadházy have announced

plans for further protests on May 1.

The demonstration was banned, but
a pro-Fidesz rally was allowed

to proceed at the exact location.

The protests are driven by concerns
over academic freedom, authoritarian

tendencies, and nationalist vs.

globalist tensions in Hungary, with
students playing a key role in organizing

and participating in the demonstrations."

"India

On Tuesday, protests broke out in
the capital of New Delhi and other

cities across India following a
deadly attack in Kashmir that killed

at least 26 people, mostly tourists.

Indian authorities have blamed
militants for the attack, while

Pakistan denies any involvement."

"Israel

Over 1,000 demonstrators gathered
in Tel Aviv's Habima Square to

protest the ongoing war in Gaza.

The protesters, led by the Jewish-Arab
""Standing Together"" movement,

chanted slogans demanding an end
to the fighting and held signs

with pictures of hostages and Gazan
children killed during the conflict.

Initially, police tried to restrict
the protest by prohibiting signs with

these images, but later backed down.

The protest organizer, Rula Daoud,
criticized the police's attempt

to censor criticism of the war and
the government, highlighting the

importance of freedom of expression."

"United States

A shooting occurred near Tropical Park
in Southwest Miami-Dade, resulting

in at least three people being hurt.

The suspect was reportedly killed.

The incident happened at Priced Right
Motors, a used car dealership, and

multiple law enforcement agencies,
including SWAT, responded to the scene."

"Syria

A landmine explosion in Manbij
countryside has resulted in a tragic

loss of life, with four civilians killed,
including three women and one man.

The incident also left six women injured.

The explosion targeted a vehicle
carrying agricultural workers in

Arab Hassan Village, highlighting the
ongoing risks faced by civilians in

areas contaminated with war remnants."

"Syria

An old landmine exploded near Al-Saleheyah
Bridge in northern Deir Ezzor countryside,

resulting in a fatal incident.

Two civilians lost their lives, while
another person was injured in the blast.

Fortunately, the injured individual was
taken to the hospital for treatment."

"Syria

An explosion in Al-Alfares village,
south of Al-Khafsah in Manbij

countryside, killed a child.

In another incident, a civilian
was killed by an explosion in

Al-Hammad area, Al-Suwaidaa
countryside, near Abu Harat village."

"Syria

A child has been killed and a girl
severely injured in an explosion

of a landmine in Abdin Village,
southern Idlib countryside.

The injured girl has been taken
to a hospital for treatment."

"United States

A plane crash occurred at
Langley Air Force Base in

Hampton, Virginia, on Thursday.

An MX Aircraft MXS, a two-seat
sport aircraft, crashed while

attempting to land around 11:50 a.m.

The pilot's condition
is unknown at this time.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating
the incident, with the NTSB

leading the investigation."

On Wednesday evening, a small aircraft
crashed at the Lynchburg Regional Airport.

The plane did not have its landing
gear down, and why is unclear.

No one was injured in the crash,
and an investigation was underway."

"United States

A small plane, carrying three people,
crashed into trees Wednesday morning

after taking off from the Myakka
Head Airport near Myakka City.

No one was injured in the crash.

An investigation was underway."

"United States

Wednesday afternoon, a small plane
crashed in a wooded area in the

Letart/New Haven area of Mason County.

An investigation was underway."

"United States

On Wednesday, a small plane made an
emergency landing in Franklin County

after losing power while taking off
from Triangle North Executive Airport.

After clipping a fence, the pilot
safely landed the aircraft in a

nearby grass area, and two people
on board reported no injuries.
