fourth round of talks with the

Iran has agreed to hold a fourth
round of indirect nuclear talks with

the United States on Sunday in Oman.

The negotiations, initially scheduled
for May 3 in Rome, were postponed

due to ""logistical reasons."""

"Gaza Strip

The IDF says two Hamas operatives
surrendered and provided intelligence

on a major tunnel in Rafah, which
was subsequently demolished.

The tunnel, located in the Shaboura
camp, spanned around a kilometer and

was 25 meters below ground, featuring
rooms, a bathroom, and blast doors.

The intelligence provided by the
Hamas operatives led to the discovery

and demolition of the tunnel, which
served key terrorists in Hamas."

"India

On Thursday, the Border Security
Force (BSF) thwarted an infiltration

attempt along the India-Pakistan
International Border in Jammu,

killing at least seven terrorists.

The incident occurred in the
Samba district, where BSF troops

engaged a ""large group"" of
terrorists, neutralizing them

and inflicting significant damage
on a Pakistan Rangers post."

"India

Security forces arrested a Kangleipak
Communist Party-People's War Group

(KCP-PWG) rebel during an operation in
Ningthoukhong Kha Keirungba Leikai in

the Bishnupur district on Thursday."

"India

On Thursday, security forces arrested
a Kangleipak Communist Party (Noyon)

terrorist during an operation in
Lamlai, Imphal East district."

"India

On Thursday, security forces
detained seven militants linked

to various banned organizations
across three districts in Manipur.

From Lamding Khumanthem Leikai in
Thoubal district, troops captured

four active members of the prohibited
Kangleipak Communist Party.

In another operation, three terrorists
from the banned United National

Liberation Front (UNLF) (Pambei) were
captured near Lilong Bridge in Thoubal.

The troops also seized weapons and
ammunition, including homemade pistols

and hand grenades, from the suspects."

"India

The West Bengal Special Task Force
(STF) has arrested two Jamatul

Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist
associates during raids in Nalhati

and Murarai in Birbhum district.

Authorities reported that the
individuals propagated the ideology

of the Jamatul Mujahideen Bangladesh,
which is engaged in anti-India

activities, and plotted to carry out
terrorist attacks in the country."

"Israel

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have
taken responsibility for a ballistic

missile launch at Israel, claiming
to have targeted Ben Gurion Airport.

However, the IDF successfully intercepted
the projectile with air defenses.

The Houthis also launched a
drone at a target in the Tel

Aviv area, but there have been
no reports of it reaching Israel.

The group has stated that they will
continue to impose a ban on air navigation

to Israeli airports and ships in the Red
and Arabian Seas until the aggression on

Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted."

"Israel

A baby was lightly wounded
in a stone-throwing attack on

a bus in the Jordan Valley.

The baby was treated at the scene,
and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)

are searching for those responsible."

"Israel

On Wednesday, Bor Police and
security forces arrested three

individuals in Tira on suspicion
of involvement in an assassination

plot linked to a local terror cell.

The suspects were found with an explosive
device, a drone, and tracking devices,

which are believed to be part of the
equipment intended for assassination."

"Nigeria

Police in Katsina State foiled a
banditry attack in the Ilali village

area of Matazu Local Government Area.

Two individuals, Sada Maraya (45) and
Basiru Magaji (47), were kidnapped

by armed men suspected to be bandits.

However, the police responded
quickly and engaged the bandits in

a gunfight, forcing them to flee.

The victims were rescued unharmed,
and efforts are ongoing to

apprehend the fleeing bandits."

"Nigeria

Two buses traveling from Lagos
to Kano and Katsina were attacked

by armed hoodlums along the
Apata-Obajana road in Kogi State.

Nigerian troops, in collaboration with
the police and local hunters, responded

to a distress alert and engaged the
assailants in a gun duel, forcing them to

abandon 31 of the 38 kidnapped passengers.

Four passengers sustained machete
injuries, and one was hit by a

bullet, but all were evacuated to
a hospital for medical treatment."

"Nigeria

On Thursday, gunmen blocked a highway
in the Okigwe Local Government Area of

Imo State, south-east Nigeria, resulting
in the deaths of multiple people.

The attackers, suspected to be
members of the outlawed Indigenous

People of Biafra (IPOB), flagged
down and set ablaze several vehicles,

including trucks and motorcycles.

According to eyewitnesses, over
20 vehicles were destroyed and

up to 30 people were killed.

The police have confirmed the attack and
launched a manhunt for the perpetrators.

The Imo State Commissioner of
Police has assured residents that

the operation will continue until
all perpetrators are tracked down."

"Nigeria

On Tuesday, May 6, five gunmen
wearing military combat uniforms

ambushed a team of police officers
along the Port Harcourt-Aba Road,

killing a Police Inspector."

"Nigeria

A 37-year-old employee of the
Abuja Electricity Distribution

Company, Yusuf Ibrahim Kasimu, was
killed in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Eyewitnesses reported that he was
found with severe head injuries,

suggesting he may have been attacked
while trying to help others.

His relatives confirmed his
identity, and his uncle condemned

the killing, urging security agencies
to track down the perpetrators."

"Nigeria

An improvised explosive device
(IED) exploded in Mafa LGA, Borno

state, injuring five children.

The incident occurred when the
children unknowingly tampered with

the IEDs, which were hidden in
holes near a construction site.

The victims, four males and one
female, suffered varying degrees of

injuries, with one boy losing his hand.

A combined team responded to the
scene and conducted an explosive

ordinance risk education for
children and community members."

"Nigeria

The 6 Brigade of the Nigerian
Army has arrested four individuals

suspected of terrorism in the Tau
General Area of Ardo-Kola Local

Government Area, Taraba State.

The operation, initiated in
response to a distress call,

resulted in the capture of the four
suspects, three of whom were armed.

The seized items include two pump-action
rifles, one locally made firearm, three

cutlasses, 42 cartridges, four mobile
phones, and one national identity card."

"Pakistan

On Friday, Baloch Liberation Army
(BLA) rebels attacked and destroyed

a Ufone company communication tower
in the Haji Shahr area of Kachhi."

"Pakistan

On Thursday, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)
insurgents targeted a truck carrying

supplies to a Pakistani occupation
forces camp in the same Sah Dim area

of Zamaran with a remote-controlled
IED attack, destroying the vehicle."

"Pakistan

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has
reportedly captured the city of Quetta

in Pakistan's Balochistan province,
pushing out the Pakistani army.

This comes as tensions escalate between
Pakistan and India on multiple fronts.

The BLA claimed responsibility for a
series of attacks on Pakistani forces,

including remote-controlled IED attacks
and armed operations, which resulted

in casualties and damage to equipment.

The BLA has warned locals against
assisting the occupation forces

and has targeted vehicles involved
in looting Baloch resources.

The situation is developing with reports
of massive escalation in Balochistan."

"Pakistan

On Friday, Baloch Liberation Army
(BLA) rebels targeted Pakistani

military vehicles in the Chotu area of
Mastung, causing significant damage."

"Pakistan

Between Thursday night and Friday
morning Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan

(TTP) terrorists killed 20 Pakistani
security troops and injured five others

at the Dangat military outpost in the
Shakai subdivision of South Waziristan.

The terrorists also seized five rifles,
a rocket launcher, night vision gear, and

other military supplies from the outpost.

The TTP stated that the attack was
in retaliation for a recent Pakistani

military operation in the Shawal region
that killed one of their fighters."

"Syria

Unidentified gunmen fatally shot a
civilian in his fifties in Hama city.

The incident took place in the early
hours of Friday morning near the

cultural centre in Al-Almain Street."

"Syria

Gunmen attacked civilian homes
in Yahmour and Khirbat Ma'aza,

Tartous countryside, using two cars.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported."

"Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU)
has uncovered a spy network linked

to Hungary's military intelligence
operating in the Zakarpattia region.

Two agents, a former Ukrainian
serviceman and a former Ukrainian

military servicewoman, were detained
for gathering information on Ukraine's

military defenses, public sentiment,
and vulnerabilities in the region.

The investigation identified a
career officer in Hungary's military

intelligence as the handler of both
agents, who were tasked with recruiting

additional informants and expanding
the network into frontline areas.

The suspects have been charged with high
treason during wartime and face life

imprisonment with property confiscation."

"West Bank

Settlers have torched agricultural land
belonging to residents of the central

West Bank village of al-Mughayyir.

This is a rare incident, as arrests
for such attacks are usually made, but

none have been reported in this case."

"Iraq

The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK)
has announced that it held a congress

in Iraqi Kurdistan from May 5-7.

The group is expected to disband and
end its 40-year armed campaign against

the Turkish state, following a call from
its imprisoned leader Abdullah Ocalan."

"Ukraine

Ukraine has expelled two Hungarian
diplomats in response to Hungary

expelling two Ukrainian diplomats.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy
Sybiga stated that the move

is based on the principle of
reciprocity and national interests.

The expulsions are part of an
escalating row between the two

countries over Ukraine's detention
of alleged Hungarian spies.

The diplomats must leave
Ukraine within 48 hours."

"Israel

A 29-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim
has been indicted for planning to join

the Islamic State (ISIS) terror group.

Adam Sarsour is accused of consuming
ISIS-related material online for 10

years, attempting to join the group
in Syria, and sharing violent videos

linked to ISIS on social media.

He was arrested, and ISIS-related
items were seized from his possession.

The case has been filed with the
Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court."

"Gaza Strip

Two Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
soldiers were killed and at least

six were wounded in separate
incidents in the southern Gaza Strip.

The soldiers, Sgt.

Yishai Elyakim Urbach and Staff Sgt.

Yam Frid, were both young adults,
20 and 21 years old, respectively."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
carried out a significant operation

in the Gaza Strip, striking over
60 targets, including terror cells,

buildings, and infrastructure.

The operation included a joint effort
with the 36th Division and targeted

Hamas positions in the Morag Corridor.

Additionally, a drone strike
killed a terror operative, and

another strike hit a building from
which troops were under fire."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have
targeted several Hamas operatives

in northern Gaza's Jabalia.

The strike allegedly hit an UNRWA
aid supply center, resulting in

the deaths of several people.

The IDF claims to have taken
steps to minimize civilian harm,

including using a precision
munition and aerial surveillance."

"India

A military standoff between India and
Pakistan has escalated in Kashmir, with

both sides exchanging heavy artillery
fire, resulting in at least nine

civilian deaths and numerous injuries."

"India

India successfully intercepted a major
missile strike from Pakistan late

Thursday night, neutralizing eight
incoming missiles with L-70 guns,

ZU-23 mm systems, Schilka systems,
and advanced counter-UAS technology.

The missiles targeted critical locations,
including Jammu civil airport, Samba,

RS Pura, Arnia, and nearby areas.

Two drones were shot down
near Jammu University.

Pakistan targeted several cities
bordering states, including Punjab,

Rajasthan, and the Jammu region.

Civilian sites in Jammu,
Udhampur, Akhnoor, Pathankot,

Gurdaspur, and Jaisalmer
experienced strikes, among others.

In retaliation, Indian fighter jets
have initiated counter-operations

on Pakistani Air Defense radars
and systems at several locations."

"India

Thursday evening, a Pakistani mortar
shell hit a vehicle near Mohura in the

Uri sector of the Baramulla district,
killing a woman and injuring another."

"India

Tensions have increased between India and
Pakistan as the Pakistani Army has been

resorting to heavy firing across the Line
of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The shelling has resulted in several
injuries, damaged homes and vehicles,

and claimed lives in various districts,
including Poonch, with 44 people injured

and 13 killed in the district alone.

The Pakistani military's move is seen as a
retaliation for India's Operation Sindoor,

which targeted terror infrastructure in
Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The situation remains grim, with
many residents migrating from the

affected areas and the government
scrambling to provide relief."

"Iraq

On Friday, Turkish forces
conducted airstrikes on several

villages in the Al-Amadiye
region in the province of Dohuk.

Casualty figures were unknown."

"Myanmar

Between Monday and Thursday, junta
air and artillery strikes hit

the villages of Ya Pyin and Tha
Yet Cho in Nawnghkio Township.

The artillery attack on Thursday
hit a wedding party in the village

of Tha Yet Cho, killing four
civilians, including a five-year-old

child, and injuring seven others."

"Myanmar

On Friday, Karen National Union/Karen
National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA)

insurgents captured a key junta
military base near the border town

of Htee Khee, Dawei Township, after
10 days of intensive fighting."

"Myanmar

On Friday, Myanmar forces conducted
drone strikes and artillery attacks

on residential areas in the Ta’ang
National Liberation Army-held

villages of Nawng Len, Ong Ma Ti,
and Tang Hla in Nawnghkio Township.

The attacks on Nawn Len
reportedly included gas bombs.

However, the effects on
residents were unknown."

"Myanmar

Military sources and residents report
that junta reinforcements sent to recover

rebel-held areas in Madaya Township,
Mandalay Region, are encountering strong

resistance from the Mandalay People’s
Defense Force (MDY-PDF) insurgents.

Sources stated that heavy
casualties have taken place."

"South Sudan

The SPLA-IO, South Sudan’s leading armed
opposition group, has claimed that forces

loyal to Vice President Taban Deng Gai
are moving closer to its positions in

Unity State, heightening concerns over
a possible resurgence of conflict in the

oil-rich northern region of the country."

"Sudan

On Friday, Rapid Support Forces
(RSF) drone strikes targeted Port

Sudan for the sixth consecutive day.

The Sudanese army's air defenses
responded with heavy anti-aircraft fire."

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked 14 Chinese
military aircraft, eight naval

vessels, and one official ship
around its country between 6 a.m.

on Thursday and 6 a.m.

on Friday.

Twelve aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait
median and entered Taiwan's southwestern

Air Defense Identification Zone."

"Uganda

The Sudan People’s Liberation Army
in Opposition (SPLA-IO) has refuted

claims that its forces crossed the
Busia border into Koboko District,

Northwestern Uganda, on Thursday.

The SPLA-IO asserted that the clash
in the morning did not extend to the

border, claiming that those involved
in the incursion were South Sudanese

forces members fleeing from combat."

"Ukraine

A 72-hour ceasefire called by Russian
President Vladimir Putin has been met

with skepticism by Ukrainian officials.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha
accused Russia of violating the ceasefire

734 times, calling it a ""farce.""

Despite this, Ukraine's parliament
unanimously approved a landmark

minerals deal with the U.S.,

which will allow Washington
access to Ukraine's minerals

and deepen strategic ties.

Russian attacks continued on the
first day of the ceasefire, with at

least one civilian killed in northeast
Ukraine, while President Putin

welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping
in the Kremlin, marking a significant

diplomatic development in the conflict."

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,300 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 200 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

Russian troops launched strikes
on the Nikopol district in

Ukraine, injuring one person and
causing significant destruction.

The strikes targeted multiple
communities, including the district

center, using UAVs and artillery.

The damage includes a garage and
outbuildings on fire, as well as

Russian forces have carried out
multiple attacks on the Kherson

region in Ukraine, resulting in one
civilian fatality and another injured.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of
the Kherson Regional State Administration,

numerous settlements were targeted,
including Kherson, using drone attacks,

artillery shelling, and air strikes.

The attacks damaged a multi-story
building, three private homes,

and several vehicles, causing
significant destruction."

"Ukraine

On the day Russia declared a
""truce,"" their forces carried out

220 attacks on eight settlements
in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The attacks included 150 drone strikes
and 70 artillery strikes, resulting

in nine reports of destruction
and damage to buildings, including

apartments and private homes."

"Ukraine

Russian forces launched airstrikes
in the Sumy region of Ukraine,

resulting in civilian casualties.

Airstrikes in the village of Manukhivka
killed an 85-year-old woman and

injured a 49-year-old man, while
two private houses were destroyed."

"West Bank

A senior Palestinian Islamic
Jihad operative, Nour Bitawi,

was killed by Israeli troops in
the West Bank city of Nablus.

Bitawi was wanted for months and
was responsible for planning and

financing terror attacks against
Israeli citizens and security forces.

He was killed along with another
operative in a joint operation by

the IDF, Shin Bet, and police."

"West Bank

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
conducted an operation in the northern

West Bank yesterday, resulting in the
detention of a Palestinian suspect.

According to the IDF, the suspect
was planning to carry out a

terror attack and was involved
in building explosive devices.

He was shot by members of the
Duvdevan commando unit in his

home in the town of Tamun, but his
condition is currently unknown."

"Spain

A small, overcrowded migrant boat
carrying 16 people from sub-Saharan

Africa was found adrift at sea,
62 nautical miles from Alicante.

One person was found deceased, and
the 15 survivors were rescued by the

Salvamar Fénix and taken to the Port
of Alicante for medical treatment."

"Sri Lanka

A military helicopter, a Bell
212, crashed into a reservoir in

Maduru Oya, Sri Lanka, killing six
people from the army and air force.

The helicopter was carrying 12 people,
including two pilots, to a military event.

All passengers were initially
recovered alive, but later succumbed

to their injuries in the hospital.

An investigation into the
cause of the crash is ongoing."

"Syria

In northern Aleppo, a child died from
shrapnel in a cluster grenade explosion.

In Al-Raqqa, two children were
killed and their parents were

injured in a separate incident.

Additionally, a civilian was
severely injured by shrapnel

from a landmine in Idlib."

"Syria

In the Palmyra Desert, east of
Homs, two separate incidents

involving landmines occurred.

Two children were injured by shrapnel from
a landmine explosion while herding sheep.

Additionally, a truck detonated
a landmine between Al-Marwaha and

Al-Sakri, severely injuring two young
men and causing the car to explode."

"United Kingdom

A light aircraft crashed in the East
Fortune area of Scotland on May 8, 2025.

The pilot, a 40-year-old male, tragically
lost his life, while the 42-year-old

passenger is in critical condition
at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Emergency services responded promptly,
and the Air Accident Investigation

Branch (AAIB) has been notified
to investigate the incident."

"United States

A small plane, a Cessna,
crash-landed in the Florida

Everglades on Thursday evening.

Two people on board were rescued
and transported to a hospital,

where they received check-ups
but reported no serious injuries.

The incident is currently under
investigation by the Federal

Aviation Administration."

"United States

On Thursday, a plane (Air Tractor AT-301)
taking off from a private landing strip

in Reno County, Kansas, clipped the top
of a passing car (2014 Chevy Impala).

Fortunately, neither the pilot nor
the woman in the car was injured."

"United States

On Friday morning, 17 CSX train
cars derailed near Campbell Road

and Nancy Circle, causing thousands
of pounds of dry goods (including

lumber) to spill onto the tracks.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported
and no hazardous materials were released.

The cleanup is being monitored by
the Smyrna Fire Department, and the

cause of the incident is currently
under investigation by CSX."
