including Cambodia reopening an expanded
Ream Naval Base, so let's get started.

Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Manet
has inaugurated the expansion of
the Ream Naval Base, which has
raised concerns about China's
growing influence in the region.
The new facilities will allow for larger
ships and joint military exercises,
but Cambodian officials have denied
allegations that China has been granted
exclusive privileges to use the base.
China's Defense Ministry has stated
that the base will support joint
operations, including counterterrorism
and humanitarian assistance,
and that personnel from both
countries will be stationed there."

Laborers cleaning an abandoned
well in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh,
discovered hand grenades and
cartridge shells while digging.
The police and district administration
have initiated an investigation into
the matter, with around 50 hand grenade
shells and empty cartridges recovered.
Preliminary investigation suggests
that the ammunition may have originated
from an Ordinance factory, but the
exact circumstances of how it ended
up in the well remain unclear."

A grenade was recovered from the
Champasari area of Siliguri on Thursday
evening by residents and the police.
The area was cordoned off to prevent
anyone from approaching the grenade,
and a team from the Bengdubi military
station recovered and defused it safely."
"Syria
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
has conducted a raid on an army
post in southern Syria, seizing
and destroying tanks, artillery
systems, mortars, and rockets.
The operation aims to demilitarize
the area and prevent hostile forces
from gaining control of the region."
"Bangladesh
A conflict broke out between two rival
groups in Jazira, Shariatpur, over
local dominance on Saturday morning.
The clash, which involved more than
a hundred hand bombs, was sparked
by a long-standing dispute between
supporters of Bilaspur Union Chairman
Kuddus Bepari and Swechchhasebak
League leader Jalil Madbar.
Despite the intensity of the incident,
no casualties have been reported so far."

Security forces in Manipur have arrested
four militants from three districts.
Two members of the United National
Liberation Front (UNLF) were arrested
on Friday for their alleged involvement
in the abduction of a 47-year-old man.
Additionally, one active cadre of the
banned Kangleipak Communist Party (PWG)
was arrested for extortion activities in
Thoubal district, and another PWG cadre
was arrested in Imphal East district.
Furthermore, security forces seized
four firearms, ammunition, and
other articles during a search
operation in Bishnupur district."
"India
On Saturday, a villager was killed, and
another, , was injured after stepping
on a Naxal/Maoist-planted IED between
the Jadda and Markud villages in the
Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
The incident occurred while the
villagers were collecting wood
and bushes in a forest area."
"India
The Kolkata Police STF arrested an arms
dealer from Howrah railway station,
seizing improvised pistols and live
cartridges from his possession.
When arrested, the dealer, a
resident of Murshidabad district,
was trying to flee to Chennai.
Police seized one 7.65
improvised pistol and ten
rounds of ammunition."

Two suspects were arrested at the
Wolfson Training field in Israel
after flare bombs were fired at
the nearby Wolfson Medical Center.
Police arrived to remove the bombs
and, after finding the suspects,
fans at the scene confronted the
officers, leading to the arrests.
The suspects were taken for questioning
at the Jaffa Police Station."
"Myanmar
On April 4, the Arakan Army (AA) clashed
with the ARSA terrorist group near the
Bangladesh border in Maungdaw township.
The AA killed one ARSA member and
seized two G-3 rifles, ammunition,
and other military equipment.
The incident highlights the ongoing
conflict between the AA and ARSA,
which has been causing violence and
instability in Rakhine State, affecting
civilians on both sides of the border
and posing a risk to regional stability."
"Nigeria
The Bauchi State Police Command
prevented a violent confrontation
between two Islamic sects after a
provocative sermon by the Chief Imam
of the Galli Mosque on April 4, 2024.
Tensions flared following the Imam's
comments, which were deemed offensive
by the followers of the late cleric Dr.
Abdulaziz Idris Dutsen-Tanshi.
The police effectively de-escalated
the situation, and the Imam was
placed in protective custody while
an investigation was conducted."

On Friday, a convoy transporting
Chinese expatriates and police escorts
near the Huan Cheng Mining Quarry site
at Agukwu Amaya, Isuikwuato Local
Government Area (LGA), Abia State, was
ambushed by heavily armed attackers.
The attack resulted in the deaths of
at least three people, including two
Chinese nationals and a police officer."
"Nigeria
A security guard was reportedly
killed by suspected herdsmen at the
Otobi Dam in Benue State, Nigeria.
This incident marks the latest in a
series of violent occurrences in the
Otukpo region over the past few weeks.
The local lawmaker, Angbo Kennedy,
has called for urgent intervention
to prevent further violence, and
residents are urging the government
and security forces to increase
monitoring efforts in rural areas."

On Saturday, a suspected Islamic
State West Africa Province (ISWAP)
terrorist IED blast injured one person
in the village of Meleri, Damboa Local
Government Area (LGA), Borno State.
The injured man and another
person were gathering baobab tree
seeds when the blast occurred."
"Nigeria
On Friday, Benue police rescued 14
passengers of the Benue Links bus,
kidnapped by gunmen on Thursday
evening in the Otukpo Local
Government Area (LGA) of the state.
During the rescue in a forested area,
police engaged the abductors in a
gun battle, forcing them to flee the
area and abandoning their captives.
Two of the hostages suffered
machete wounds from the kidnappers."
"Pakistan
On Saturday, militants abducted a
police constable in Kirri Marwati Tehsil
in Pakhtunkhwa's Tank district while
returning home from duty in a rickshaw.
The incident occurred after the
militants set up a checkpoint
and intercepted the vehicle.
Security forces and police have launched
a search operation to locate the missing
officer and apprehend the individuals."
"Pakistan
Late Friday night, terrorists attacked
Peshawar's Inqilab Police Station with
gunfire and a hand grenade, causing
partial damage but no casualties.
The attack shattered windows and
caused minor structural damage.
Police immediately returned fire,
forcing the assailants to flee the area.
A search operation for the
attackers was underway."
"Philippines
On Friday, unidentified assailants threw
a grenade at the property of Barangay
Chairman Loreto Laureta in Bangued,
Abra, with no reported casualties.
Police are still investigating the
incident, including identifying
suspects and determining the motive."
"Philippines
On Friday, unidentified gunmen
ambushed and killed two motorcycle
riders in Barangay Sapakan, Radjah
Buayan, Maguindanao del Sur.
The assailants fled the scene, and
a search for them was underway."
"Somalia
On Saturday, a mortar attack occurred
in the Boondheere and Warta Nabadda
districts of Mogadishu, injuring at least
three civilians and damaging property.
The attack targeted residential and
public areas, including the National
Theater and busy public squares.
Security forces have
investigated the attack's origin.

responsibility for the attack."

Two brothers were shot dead
by unidentified gunmen on a
motorbike in Baniyas countryside.
Additionally, four young men
were kidnapped from Al-Hataniya,
beaten, and later released."

Two ISIS gunmen on a motorbike
opened fire on a civilian in
Abriha Village, Al-Basera City.
The victim, who was working at a
commune distributing diesel and gas,
was killed instantly in the attack."

There was a violent clash between
the Al-Mahasen Tribe and the
Al-Hazil Tribe in Al-Bajdaly Village.
The incident resulted in the death
of a person from the Al-Hazil Tribe."
"Indonesia
The Indonesian Military (TNI) has
responded to the West Papua National
Liberation Army-Free Papua Organization's
(TPNPB-OPM) designation of nine
regions in Papua as ""war zones.""
TNI spokesperson Candra Kurniawan stated
that the institution will not designate a
""war zone"" but instead focus on serving,
protecting, and caring for the community.
The TPNPB-OPM has urged the Indonesian
government to immediately evacuate
residents from the designated
areas, which include Yahukimo,
Pegunungan Bintang, and Nduga.
The situation remains tense, with the
TPNPB-OPM prepared to openly engage
in combat with TNI and Indonesian
National Police (Polri) forces."

The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance
Army (MNDAA) has agreed to withdraw
from Lashio, northern Shan State's
largest city, by April 21 under an
agreement mediated by Chinese officials.
The deal was finalized on March
23 after a series of talks
between the MNDAA and Myanmar's
junta in China's Yunnan Province.
The withdrawal marks a significant
shift in control over a strategic
city, which is a key commercial hub
and home to the Myanmar regime's
Northeastern Regional Military Command."

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio
met with a Russian envoy, who sent
a message that the US expects a
breakthrough in peace talks within weeks.
Rubio emphasized that the US wants
to see concrete steps towards a
ceasefire and that ""time is ticking.""
However, a senior NATO official expressed
skepticism about Russia's intentions,
stating that there are no signs of a
change in Russia's goals in Ukraine."

On the night of April 4-5, a
Pakistani intruder was spotted
attempting to cross the international
border in the Jammu area.
The BSF (Border Security Force) troops
challenged the intruder, who ignored
the warning and continued moving.
As a result, the BSF neutralized the
intruder, and a protest was being
lodged with the Pakistani authorities.
The identity and motive of the intruder

Iraqi forces conducted an airstrike in
Al-Anbar, destroying a vehicle loaded with
weapons and explosives linked to ISIS.

Early Thursday morning, April 3, junta
airstrikes targeted the village of
Thaetaw, Taungtha Township, despite the

The airstrikes hit a school,
the Jade Pagoda, and a house.
No one was injured in the attack."

On Thursday, April 3, junta forces
fired two heavy weapon rounds on
the towns of Sittwe and Kyaukphyu
in Rakhine State despite the
declaration of a temporary ceasefire."
"Pakistan
Pakistan's security forces conducted
an intelligence-based operation
(IBO) in the Buleda area of Kech
District, Balochistan, resulting in
the neutralization of two terrorists.
The operation was carried out following
credible intelligence about the
presence of terrorists in the area,
and it led to an intense exchange
of fire, eliminating the militants.
The security forces have reaffirmed
their commitment to ensuring peace
and stability in Balochistan."

Ukraine's State Security Service
(SBU) has launched a drone attack on
Russia's Promsintez factory, which
produces industrial explosives.
The attack resulted in at least
20 explosions and several fires,
forcing the plant to halt operations.
The SBU claims the factory is a
legitimate military target due
to its role in producing weapons
for the war against Ukraine."

The Somali National Intelligence
and Security Agency (NISA) announced
the deaths of over 80 al-Shabab
terrorists, including senior operatives,

On Friday, the Sudanese army engaged
in intense clashes with paramilitary
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in
Omdurman City, targeting their last
strongholds in the capital, Khartoum.
The fighting took place early in the
morning in western neighborhoods,
including El-Muwaileh, Kandahar,
and Ombadda, with the RSF losing
control of the majority of
its territory in the capital."

Kurdish fighters have withdrawn from two
neighborhoods in Syria's Aleppo city,
