On Saturday, Afghanistan Freedom
Front (AFF) insurgents reportedly
attacked the entrance gate of a
Taliban police headquarters in Taloqan,
Takhar province, killing five Taliban
members and wounding three others.
Earlier, an explosion reportedly
took place outside the headquarters."
"Afghanistan
On Sunday, a Taliban fighter shot at
a United Nations compound in Kabul,
killing a UN contracted security guard
and wounding an international guard.
Later, the Taliban fighter was found
dead in a location outside the compound.
It was unknown how the
Taliban fighter died.
An investigation of the
incident was underway."
"Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan's Security Forces have
successfully foiled a major terrorist
plot and neutralized members of
a radical group with links to
international terrorist organizations.
The operation, which took place in the
Gusar district, resulted in the discovery
of underground shelters and the seizure of
weapons, explosives, and other equipment.
As of today, Monday, several group
members have been neutralized, and
others have been taken into custody.
During the operation, one soldier was
wounded by two terrorist grenade blasts."
"Ethiopia
In North Wollo's Harbu area, reports
indicate that Fano forces have
launched an ambush attack on a
military convoy escorting officials.
A vehicle used in the convoy was
reportedly damaged during the incident.
Additionally, in the North Wollo
region, 10 militia members have
reportedly joined the Fano forces."
"Ethiopia
Last Friday, January 31, Fano
rebels claimed to have killed and
wounded more than 100 government
soldiers from a battle near Quara.
The insurgents also stated they seized
70 firearms from the dead soldiers.
Local sources reported that the
attack killed or wounded six troops."
"Ethiopia
Last Friday, January 31, Fano insurgents
reportedly killed 17 Ethiopian soldiers
and injured seven others during a gun
battle in the Debo area of Amhara State.
The rebels also claimed to have seized
a military vehicle, several firearms,
and 3,000 rounds of ammunition."
"India
On Monday, a Manipur police bomb disposal
team recovered and defused a Radio
Controlled Improvised Explosive Device
(RCIED) at the gate of a government
employee in the Imphal East district.
No one has claimed responsibility
for placing the device."
"India
A retired army soldier was killed,
and his wife and a relative were
injured in a terrorist attack in
South Kashmir's Behibagh area.
The terrorists targeted the
ex-soldier and his family members
in broad daylight and escaped.
The injured were taken to a hospital, but
the ex-soldier succumbed to his wounds.
The wife and relative are stable."
"Kenya
On Monday morning, gunmen from the
Al-Shabaab terror group abducted five
government officials in Kenya's Mandera
County, near the border with Somalia.
When intercepted and kidnapped, the
regional administrators or chiefs were
traveling from Wargadud to Elwak town."
"Nigeria
On Sunday, Nigerian forces engaged
suspected terrorists during a raid
on their hideout in the Kajuru Local
Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.
During the fighting, one bandit
was killed, while 23 others,
including 19 men and four women,
surrendered without resistance.
Several other terrorists fled
the area during the encounter.
A search of the hideout resulted in the
recovery of a significant weapons cache,
including four AK-47 rifles, five AK-47
rifle magazines, 80 rounds of 7.62mm
special ammunition, one English-made
pistol, two locally made guns,
28 cutlasses, 16 motorcycles,
and 48 daggers and jack knives."

Late Saturday night, bandits attacked
the community of Jimlari in the Lau
Local Government Area (LGA), killing one
person and abducting eight children."
"Nigeria
On Monday, a violent communal clash
erupted in Osun State, resulting
in gunshot wounds to at least
seven policemen being wounded
while attempting to restore order.
The unrest occurred between
residents of Ido-Ijesa and Esa-Oke,
two communities in Osun State.
Governor Ademola Adeleke appointed
Prince Timileyin Ajayi as the Olojudo (a
traditional ruler title) of Ido-Ajegunle.
Esa-Oke residents opposed this
appointment, claiming Prince Ajayi
is not indigenous to their town."
"Nigeria
On Sunday, four people were killed in
Rimin Auzinawa, Ungogo Local Government
Area of Kano State, following a
violent clash with security forces
over the demolition of properties.
Security personnel allegedly
opened fire when residents resisted
the destruction of their homes.
The land in question is believed to
belong to Bayero University, Kano
(BUK), but residents claim that
KNUPDA had previously confirmed the
properties were not on university land."
"Nigeria
A traditional ruler in Edo State, His
Royal Highness Friday Ehizojie, the Onojie
of Udo-Eguare, was abducted by gunmen in
the Igueben Local Government Area (LGA).
The monarch was abducted after the gunmen
shot and killed a commercial motorcyclist
who was driving him along a forest path.
The Edo State Police Command has confirmed
the incident and has deployed tactical
teams to ensure the rescue of the victims
and the arrest of the assailants."
"Nigeria
On Sunday, gunmen abducted three family
members along the Oro-Agbamu road in the
Owoyale Village in the Irepodun Local
Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State.
A search for the victims and
kidnappers was undertaken."
"Nigeria
On Sunday, suspected Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB) separatists
attacked the Amegu Nkalaha community
in the Isheileu Local Government
Area (LGA), killing ten people.
The militants set fire to several
homes and destroyed properties."
"Nigeria
The Rivers State police have confirmed
the deaths of three individuals and the
arrests of three others in what appears
to be a violent conflict in Onne, Rivers
State, over revenue collection authority.
According to insider sources, the
underlying cause is a power struggle
between factions loyal to current and
former local council leaders in Eleme.
A source in the area reported that the
Onne community has become unsafe, with
groups advising their members and workers
to avoid specific locations like Aggeta."

Gunmen attacked a Pakistani forces vehicle
in the Dera Ismail Khan area, resulting
in the deaths of three soldiers, a
civilian driver, and one other civilian.
No group has claimed
responsibility for the attack."

Two security personnel were martyred in
separate armed attacks in Balochistan.
In the first incident, armed men
opened fire on a vehicle, killing one
security official and injuring another.
In a separate incident, a Frontier Corps
(FC) soldier was gunned down in Chaman.
Investigations are ongoing to determine
the perpetrators of the attacks."

Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists
claimed responsibility for killing a
police officer guarding polio vaccinators
in the area of Jamrud town in northwestern
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday."

A vice commander of the New People's
Army (NPA) in Cagayan province,
alias ""Ka Kulot,"" surrendered
to the police after 20 years of
fighting for the communist group.
This surrender is a significant blow
to rebel operations in the province.
Ka Kulot, a provincial committee
member and the second-highest
rebel in the province, was also
the region's ""Top Most Wanted""
and faced multiple criminal cases.
He decided to lead a normal life with
his family and surrendered a machine
gun, explosive devices, and bullets."
"Russia
A bomb exploded in the lobby of a
luxury apartment block in Moscow,
targeting a pro-Russian paramilitary
leader from eastern Ukraine.
The leader, Armen Sarkisyan, died in
the hospital from critical injuries.
The blast was described as an
assassination attempt, and investigators
are working to identify those responsible.
Ukraine accused Sarkisyan of aiding
Russia's war effort in Donetsk."
"Somalia
On Monday, Abdirahman Shirwac Aw-Saciid,
the head of the Islamic State's
assassination squad in Somalia, was
captured by authorities in the Cal Miskaad
mountains in northeastern Puntland state.
Aw-Saciid, also known by the alias
""Laahoor,"" was responsible for
extorting local businesses for the group."
"Syria
An armed group of 12 individuals
on motorcycles attacked a house
in Shammyah Al-Muhalabah village
in the Latakia countryside.
They demanded to search the house,
dropped drugs and bullets to accuse
residents, and stole 1,000 USD.
They shouted insults, threats,
and warnings before fleeing."
"Syria
Nearly two dozen people were
killed, and dozens were wounded
in a car bombing in Manbij, Syria.
The death toll has risen to
21 people, with 14 women and
one man among the victims.
The city is divided between the US-backed
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the
Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA).
Clashes between the two groups have
been ongoing, with the SNA launching
airstrikes and ground attacks."

In coordination with SDF, International
Coalition Forces conducted an airdrop
operation in Al-Namliyah village
in northern Deir Ezzor countryside.
They arrested an oil investor accused
of belonging to ISIS and seized weapons.

Two PKK terrorists surrendered
to Turkish security forces in
southeastern Sirnak province after
fleeing shelters in northern Iraq.

The Security Service of Ukraine
has arrested an FSB asset who was
providing the Russians with information
about Ukrainian defense positions
and maneuvers in the Donetsk region.
The suspect, a 38-year-old resident
of Toretsk, was recruited by the
FSB while living in Vinnytsia as
an internally displaced person.
A mobile phone containing evidence of
her cooperation with Russian intelligence
was seized during a search of her home.
She is now in custody and could
face up to 12 years in prison."

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU)
has arrested an FSB agent in Odesa
for spying on Ukrainian warships.
The agent was gathering information
on naval bases and routes, which
would be used for combat operations.
The agent used his own car to take photos
and record geolocations, sending the
information to his Russian handlers.
The SSU has charged the agent with
treason and he faces life imprisonment."
"West Bank
Settler extremists are attacking
the Palestinian village of
Susya, damaging vehicles and
drilling a hole in a water tank.
No casualties were reported
during the attack."
Military Conflict
"Ethiopia
Last Friday, January 31, the Fano
insurgent leader in Amhara State claimed
its forces inflicted heavy human and
material loss on Ethiopian troops
in the Agew Mider area of Gojjam.
Among those killed were
two military commanders."
"Gaza Strip
The IDF fired warning shots at Palestinian
suspects approaching forces in Gaza.
Israeli troops remain deployed in some
areas during the ceasefire with Hamas.
Residents of Gaza are urged
to follow instructions and
avoid approaching troops."
"Iran
Human rights organization Haalvsh reported
that Iranian military forces opened fire
on a vehicle carrying Afghan migrants,
resulting in one death and one injury.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning.
The driver of the vehicle
abandoned the injured and deceased
migrants and fled the scene."
"Moldova
Moldova's defense ministry reported
that an unmanned aerial vehicle
violated the country's airspace.
The drone was detected and tracked
by Moldova's National Army.
The Ministry of Defense did not provide
details about the origin or purpose
of the drone but stated that they are

Regime forces have displaced over
6,000 civilians in Magway Region's
Salin Township since late last
week, according to local sources.
The junta troops targeted two
villages in the township last
Thursday, January 30, in retaliation
for an ambush by resistance forces.
During the raids, the troops burned
down at least 56 houses in Ka Hnyat and
Tha Yet Khon after they were ambushed."

Last Friday, January 31, Arakan
Army (AA) insurgents seized a junta
defensive position in the village of
Gote-see-yoe, Ngape Township, killing
over 60 soldiers and capturing others.
The rebels also seized a large
cache of weapons and ammunition.
During the attack, junta troops
withdrew to a hill northeast
of the village on Saturday.
Reports indicate that insurgents
are assaulting junta reinforcements
traveling along the Ann-Padan
road in Ngape Township.
Additionally, these groups are
obstructing and engaging regime
forces as they retreat from the
Arakan Army's (AA) border offensive."
"Myanmar
On Friday, a junta airstrike hit a
displacement camp and clinic in Kale
Township, resulting in the death of
eight civilians and wounding 15 others."
"Myanmar
On Saturday, Karen National Liberation
Army (KNLA) insurgents and its
allies captured the juntaâs strategic
Mae Pale base in Mon Stateâs Belin
Township after a month of fighting.
The insurgents arrested 29 regime
soldiers, including a battalion commander.
An unspecified number of junta troops and
insurgents were killed in the battle."

On Monday, two Chinese nationals
were abducted by suspected ISIS Sahel
militants in Agadez, Niger Republic.
The victims, who are employees of the
China National Petroleum Corporation
(CNPC), were taken during a coordinated
attack that also resulted in the deaths
of two Nigerien security personnel from
the Garde Nationale du Niger (GNN)."

On Monday, police operatives
in Adamawa State police killed
one suspected kidnapper.
They arrested another during a raid on
their hideout in the Holma Mountains
in the Song Local Government Area.
Police recovered an AK-47 rifle, two
locally made guns, and five rounds of
AK-47 live ammunition from the suspects."

The Philippine Western Mindanao
Command (Westmincom) forces are
tracking the movements of three
Chinese People's Liberation Army
(PLA) Navy vessels that reportedly
entered Philippine waters on Sunday.
The three PLA vessels include a
Renhai-class guided-missile cruiser, a
Jiangkai-class frigate II, and a Type
903 Fuchi-class replenishment oiler.
These vessels were first detected near the
West Philippine Sea, navigating through
the Mindoro Strait towards the Sulu Sea."

UAVs attacked the Astrakhan gas processing
plant in Russia, a key energy facility
that processes gas condensate and
produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and more.
The plant has a significant impact

Abdallah Hussein, a top commander
of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)
in Sudan's Al Jazirah state, and an
unspecified number of his soldiers
were killed in an airstrike on Monday.
The attack occurred amid fierce clashes
between his forces and the Sudanese
Armed Forces (SAF) in the city of
al-Kamelin, located north of the state."

Support Forces (RSF) on the Abu Shouk
camp killed 11 and wounded 18, leading to
a mass displacement of residents who now

On Sunday, forces allied with the Sudanese
army reported they had repelled an attack
by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on
El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur,
as fighting intensified in the region.
According to Ahmed Hussein Mustafa,
a spokesman for the joint force of
armed groups fighting alongside the
army, the RSF launched an assault
on El Fasher from three directions,
targeting a reservoir, residential
areas, and camps for displaced people.
Mustafa stated the attackers were met
with strong resistance from the joint
force, the army, and local defense groups.
He claimed the clashes resulted
in 140 RSF fighters and foreign
mercenaries being killed, 43 military
vehicles destroyed, and 12 captured."

Turkish forces and their proxies
launched artillery attacks on the Ail
silos frontline and the outskirts of
Hawalk village in Tal Abyad countryside.

Turkish National Intelligence
Organization (MIT) eliminated Mahmut
Agca, a suspected intelligence
officer of the PKK and YPG, in Syria.
Agca has been involved in orchestrating
attacks in Turkey since 2015

Agca is also suspected of smuggling

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth
made phone calls to Japan Defense

According to a report, the military
junta, the Ta'ang National Liberation
Army (TNLA), and the Arakan Army
(AA) are scheduled to convene this
month, with China providing mediation.
Additionally, the TNLA and AA, the
remaining members of the Three Brotherhood
Alliance, are set to engage in further
discussions with the Myanmar military.
This came after a ceasefire agreement
was reached between the military and
the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance
Army (MNDAA), also facilitated by
China, as reported by Popular News."
"Panama
U.S.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio
warned Panama's President
Jose Raul Mulino that the U.S.
will take action if Panama
does not address what President
Donald Trump sees as China's
influence over the Panama Canal.
Mulino stated that his country's
sovereignty over the canal
is not up for discussion.
Rubio delivered a message from
Trump stating that China's presence
near the canal is a threat and
a violation of the U.S.-Panama
treaty.
Trump has threatened to take
control of the canal and has

US President Donald Trump has announced
that he is cutting off all future
funding to South Africa due to concerns
about the country's land issue.
Trump claims that South Africa is
confiscating land and mistreating
certain classes of people.
The issue of land redistribution
has been controversial, with
critics including Elon Musk.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa
recently signed a bill allowing
for ""nil compensation"" in certain
cases of property expropriation."

A senior Taliban minister who
spoke out against the ban on girls'
education in Afghanistan has reportedly
been forced to flee the country.
Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai criticized the
government's ban during a graduation
ceremony and emphasized the importance
of education for both men and women.
Following his speech, the Taliban's
supreme leader allegedly ordered
Stanikzai's arrest and travel
ban, prompting him to leave
for the United Arab Emirates.
Stanikzai claimed his departure

US President Donald Trump has announced
a one-month pause on new tariffs on
Mexico after Mexico agreed to strengthen
its northern border with 10,000 National
Guard members to combat drug trafficking.
The agreement also includes a commitment
from the US to prevent the trafficking
of high-powered weapons to Mexico.
The two countries will use this time
to engage in further negotiations.
The looming tariffs have caused global
financial markets to slump, and there
are concerns about potential tariffs

President Donald Trump has agreed to
pause the implementation of planned U.S.
tariffs on imports from Canada for at
least 30 days, according to Canadian
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
This decision comes after Mexico's
president and Trump agreed to a one-month
pause on tariffs on imports from Mexico.
Both pauses are a result of the
countries' commitment to preventing the
trafficking of fentanyl into the U.S."
Civil Unrest
"United States
A non-permitted demonstration
opposing the Trump administration's
immigration crackdown occurred
in downtown Los Angeles.
The protest started at City Hall
and moved onto the 101 Freeway,
causing the closure of Spring Street.
The protesters expressed their
support for immigrants and criticized
President Trump's immigration policies.
The demonstration ended peacefully,
and the freeway lanes were reopened.
Protests were also held in other
cities across the United States."
Cyber
"South Africa
The South African Weather Service
(SAWS) has been hit by a cyberattack,
causing its website to go offline.
The disruption has affected
critical operations, including
aviation and maritime services.
SAWS is investigating the incident
and working to restore services.
They have been sharing weather
updates through social media
platforms as a temporary measure."
"United States
New York Blood Center Enterprises,
a blood product supplier to over 400
hospitals, was hit by a ransomware attack.
While still accepting donations,
processing times may be longer than
usual, and activities and blood
drives may need to be rescheduled.
The organization is working to restore
its systems with the help of cybersecurity
experts and law enforcement."

IDF troops in southern Lebanon
have destroyed multiple Hezbollah
weapons depots, including mortars,

guns, and other military equipment.
Despite a ceasefire, IDF troops
remain deployed in the eastern

On Sunday, government forces recovered
a New Peopleâs Army (NPA) weapons cache
during an operation in the hinterlands of
Buak Daku village, Sogod, Southern Leyte.
The cache included an M16 rifle, a short
magazine, and subversive materials."

A-Sayed killed Yehuda Kaduri and Tamar
Kaduri in their home in Armon Hanatziv
in 2019 and Ivan Tarnovski in 2022.
He also attempted to harm a
14-year-old girl and severely
wounded Tarnovski's roommate.
The court ruled that he would
not be eligible for release under
any future diplomatic agreement.
A-Sayed confessed to the crimes,
stating that he targeted Jews."

in connection with allegations that
it tried to prevent investigators from
detaining President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The raid targets the acting PSS chief and
the head of the PSS bodyguard division.
